Light haze on this amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and soft, mild fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, light cream. Big skunky hops. Mild hop spice and marmalade but this is mostly about the skunk character of hops. Smooth finish. Skunk bomb but pretty drinkable.

Bottle shared in NYC - thanks to Will and Sander. Pours clear, rich god with a creamy top. Meh, it’s ok. Kind of a leafy affair, with some rindy bitterness, jammy citrus, berries. Medium sweet, a little bready, with toasted grass, orange, papaya. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly resinous, with toasty bread sweetness, some pine, grass and earth. Fine.

Hazy orange pour with a nice white head. Really enjoyable pine, grapefruit, and orange aromas. A bit perfumey. Some sweet bread notes, mild tropical fruit, and a hint of grass. The flavor is a bit bitter and maybe even boozy. However, there are good fruit notes. Lots of grapefruit and orange, some light melon and tropical fruit, and peach. Nice pine and some hints of grass.

New world hops experience. Extraordinary hoppy beer, bringing in the totality of New World hops. Very lacy, bold but not palate erasing citrus
hops. Hop forward, comes on like 60 or higher ibu. A must try for hop fans, or most of us. Incredibly drinkable. Bomber from StefanSD.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Short: A harsh, overly bitter IPA
[ Mother Earth ][ Tap ][ 2oz ][ Taster ][ $1-2 ][ 1/25/14 ]
Long: Clear light amber pour, good lacing. Decent citrus hop nose. Taste is bitter, dusty, aggressive bitterness. No malt juiciness to balance. Over the top bitter. Harsh.
Flaws: Overly bitter, astringent, harsh
Cause: Oversteeped grain, wrong mash in temperature, too long of hop boil, etc.
