This IPA will “wow” those tastebuds and wake up your nose! Fruitiness in the aroma and a mango-like finish from the NZ Nelson hops used are sure to get you to believe in fate!

Hazy orange pour with a nice white head. Really enjoyable pine, grapefruit, and orange aromas. A bit perfumey. Some sweet bread notes, mild tropical fruit, and a hint of grass. The flavor is a bit bitter and maybe even boozy. However, there are good fruit notes. Lots of grapefruit and orange, some light melon and tropical fruit, and peach. Nice pine and some hints of grass.

Gold pour, white head. Melons, tropical fruits, apples(in a good way), citrus hops, grassy notes. Pretty solid offering.

New world hops experience. Extraordinary hoppy beer, bringing in the totality of New World hops. Very lacy, bold but not palate erasing citrus hops. Hop forward, comes on like 60 or higher ibu. A must try for hop fans, or most of us. Incredibly drinkable. Bomber from StefanSD.

Short: A harsh, overly bitter IPA

[ Mother Earth ][ Tap ][ 2oz ][ Taster ][ $1-2 ][ 1/25/14 ]
Long: Clear light amber pour, good lacing. Decent citrus hop nose. Taste is bitter, dusty, aggressive bitterness. No malt juiciness to balance. Over the top bitter. Harsh.
Flaws: Overly bitter, astringent, harsh
Cause: Oversteeped grain, wrong mash in temperature, too long of hop boil, etc.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Big tropical fruit aroma with grapefruit. Ruby grapefruit and pine flavor with light tropical fruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and grapefruit linger with pine.

22oz bomber pours with a clear copper body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up dank to spicy hops as well as a touch of floral hops and citrus hop notes. The taste is smooth and nicely hoppy with earthy tea and dank hoppy goodness that I just love here as well as bits of floral and citrus hops in the background. It has a pleasing mix of bitter hops and flavor hops but leans solidly on the bitter side. Solid IPA goodness.

Fairly decent ipa, tastes more like it came form vermont or the east coast than california.

Bottle. Thanks, N! Pours a hazed dark amber with a dense and creamy tan head that sticks around. Nice bright nose showing grapefruit rind along with cantaloupe and caramel. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasted caramel, grapefruit, and cantaloupe on the mid palate, washing out into a lightly sweet tropical finish. Very nice.

22 oz. bottle shared by danielcoor- thanks again, Danny! Pours a clear orange-amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of herbs, lemon, tea, sweet malts, and sweat; really a fresh hop pellet kind of nose. Flavor of lemon tea, with some tropical fruits, leaves, sweet malts. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a mouthfeel that replicates drinking tea, even dry at the finish. Really unique IPA. Enjoyed this quite a bit.
