COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Being the first beer off our bottling line, Pin Up Pale Ale knows just what you like. Bittered with Summit, and dry hopped with Citra and Chinook, itís herbal hop aroma and San Diego-style bitterness pushes the Pale Ale boundaries. A simple grain bill keeps it hop forward with a malty balanced. But we donít want to reveal too much, just enough for intrigue!

With Z, pours a light rusty golden orange color with a white head. Nose is citrus , grass, grain and hops. Taste is citrus, particularly lemon, with a light bitter hoppy flavor. Finish ends on light bitter citrus notes, and is moderately short and dry. Quaff Score 6 / 10

Clear, solid orange with a one-finger white head and modest lace. Tropical citrus aromas featuring pineapple, orange, peach, apricot. Bitterness offset a bit by a toasty maltiness. Medium body, lively carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish.

Keg at Ten Green Bottles, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A hazy pale Amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, some gooseberry, subtle lemon, a little biscuit and floral hops. Taste of grapefruit, orange, some gooseberry, slight apricot, subtle resin, a little biscuit and floral hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A lingering, floral hop bitterness in the finish. A sweetish, fruity APA. Decently hopped but with a soft bitterness. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Orange with a big head that took time to diddipate. Floral and hoppy aroma that leads to a hoppy aroma. Hops then come into their own. Medium body and pretty impressive. My first from this brewery.

Type: 22-oz. bottle Glass: Figueroa Mountain pint glass From: Costco in La Mesa (San Diego), Calif. Price: $18.99 for a variety 4-pack of bombers Purchased: Nov. 6, 2015 Consumed: Nov. 6, 2015 Misc.: N/A Poured a honey, caramel, clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of grayish tan, rocky head, which comes to rest quickly, A few bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Minimal wet spots of lacing on the sides of the glass. Poor retention. (Sight - 3.50) Smelled a pleasant whiff of Citra, sharp grapefruit, lemon zest, some tropical rind, some spicy Chinook, caramel and sugary floral. (Smell - 3.75) Tasted wasnít as pleasant as the nose, getting more of a veggie feel. Also Citra, lemon, lime, faint grapefruit, tangerine, Citra rind, caramel and bitter Chinook. (Taste - 3.50) Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.75) This was an OK pale ale, about what I was expecting. Decent for the style and good for the summer. Pours with just too much head, had to scoop the head out twice. Aroma is lush tropical fruits. A little watery but some nice tropical fruit flavours.

Bottle; amber orange color with a clingy and frothy head. Aroma was great; herbal and citrus with some orange and vanilla like notes. Flavor was vibrant for the style; not overhopped, but great hoppy flavor. Some toasted biscuit backbone. Good stuff.
