COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Being the first beer off our bottling line, Pin Up Pale Ale knows just what you like. Bittered with Summit, and dry hopped with Citra and Chinook, it’s herbal hop aroma and San Diego-style bitterness pushes the Pale Ale boundaries. A simple grain bill keeps it hop forward with a malty balanced. But we don’t want to reveal too much, just enough for intrigue!

Pretty tasty for a beer straight up called a pale ale. Nice burst of hops and totally crushable. Put a bomber down in like 10 minutes. Smells super fresh, like all the Mother Earth beers do. Easy drinker, with a pungent hop flavor. Yay. Thank you!

Nice pour. Lightly bready malt base overloaded with a bit too much bitter hops that give it a orange-grapefruit-pine kinda effect. Will drink again fer sure.

Decent pale...too much hops for pale and similar rubber tire aroma as Kismet. Seems they are trying to push it too much, as there is some astringency. Still drinkable.

Had on tap at Tender Greens on Broadway. Pours a slightly hazy copper gold. Thin white head. Served much too cold and so little aroma was discernible. Just a slight pineyness. Flavor is also slightly pine with slight malt. Hop forward pale ale. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Small and unassuming ale with a big bite. Clear and dark golden, light hop aroma. Taste brings on the hops, finish is decidely astringent, piney.

Bottle thanks to San Diego sis. A nice hoppy pale. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small off-white head. Nose is dank herbal and citrus. Taste is grapefruit and orange.

Vintage:2013 Appearance: Intense Copper: Quickly dissipating, thin white head; Smell: Pine; Cedar; Crisp, like a walk through the forest in the morning Taste: Pine; Grapefruit; Lemon; Lingering Bitterness; Lacking Malt Character Mouth-feel: Light/Medium Body; Clean; Overall: Solid PA, but virging on being an IPA; Strong hope character for the style.
