3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma has pleasant malty and fruity notes with a subtle hoppy undertone. It pours a slightly hazy solar yellow with a fairly thick and rather fine-bubbled white head. Malty flavor has good fruity notes and more than a hint of hops, plus just a little bit of hoppy bitterness - not like an IPA, but there is definitely some hop taste. Texture has good body and a fair amount of fizz. An impressive pale ale.

can. hazy gold with white head. cereal nose with lychee and floral hops. the flavor has pleasant floral hop notes with hint of peach sweet tea. a pale ale on the lighter side. a simple pale ale with a good floral flavor. a really great APA actually, with the lamest can art i’ve ever seen. looks like the artwork in my 1st grade reading books or the runner up for Ween’s "Quebec" cover.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce can - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Has an odd can design of three people itching themselves. Perhaps Mother Earth is seeing there are some deep itches that only this beer can adequately scratch.
Appearance: Pours out a hazed, yellow-hued body with a medium-sized, fine white head. Some steady streams of carbonation in the body.
Smell: A fruity scent of lemon juice overtop notes of crunchy, horse-mouthwatering straw and basic white bread dough.
Taste: Very modest maltiness, a nibble of crust-less bread and sun-dried hay with a roundabout dough-like quality. Low sweetness. Squirt of lightly pithy citrus juice, an additional hint of florals, and bitterness sufficient enough to kick away that light sweetness and then some. Dry, doughy, lightly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It’s fine and easy-drinking if a little ho-hum.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very pale yellow pour with a small fluffy white head. Faded quickly. Aroma was on the subtle side, some bready malt, biscuit and some underlying notes of citrus. Flavors were slightly bitter with some lemon peel and light grapefruit. Mouthfeel was in the medium range with moderate carbonation. Overall this was a very easy drinking pale ale, loved the whole sixer. Also, this is easily the coolest looking can I have come across. Really digging Mother Earth so far (in GA).

Tap at the brewery. Being a huge fan of pales I enjoyed this. Not quite as hoppy or tasty as some, but still a decent beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a large fluffy white head. Aroma of light malts, floral and some light citrus hops. Flavor is quite light with only some pale malts and very light floral hops. Very easy to drink.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is a disappointing pale ale. There’s a suggestion of good hops in the aroma, but this turns into a thin bitterness in the flavor. The malt doesn’t do any heavy lifting either. This isn’t bad, it’s just not good enough.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
New addition to the Atlanta scene. Nice but relatively unassuming drink. Pours a clear yellow color. Slight citrus but mostly floral aroma. Flavor is smooth and light. Finish is a little bitter and relatively long lasting. For a straight pale it has a decent amount of character.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2012 Pale color, nice head. taste of grains balanced out by mild bitterness. Very easy to drink, very clean mouth feel. Not too much hop or malt character depth, almost is like a pale lager. Apparently it is only made with Chinook and two row so for just having those two It?s delicious. I?m calling it an east Carolina pounder. Thumbs up but I need a little more action in my beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Originally reviewed: 1/1/12. Picked up a can of this from Whole Foods recently. Chilled and poured into my Surly pint glass. Pours a lighter-than-expected pale gold with a moderate bone-white head on top. Sharp hoppy nose. Light citrus and floral tones. This is a nice bitter Pale, borders on a mild IPA. Lots of bitter juicy hops, with a nice dry malty backbone. Dry finish. This is a good Pale, especially in a can. This wouldn’t be my go-to as it doesn’t drink as easy as I’d like due to the bitterness, but a good one to revisit time and again.
