decent pale ale. Not as interesting as many I have tasted, but nothing really offensive about it either. Pours lighter than I would have expected (and lighter than the picture) and taste is on the light side for a pale ale as well. slight hoppiness to it- definite piney, citrusy notes. some malt but not overly sweet- pretty balanced. think I was drawn in by the can- actually shows runners wearing vibram five fingers on a trail run- nice detail by the folks at Mother earth.

Second Wind Pale Ale is a Light Amber hazy beer with a firm head of tiny white bubbles. The scent of this beer is crisp with a moderate amount of indeterminate hops. Taste is very faint. A bit salty, mild hops of a green and maybe a bit green, mown hay variety. Body is smooth and silky. not very lively. Finish is faint. rather unassertive, beer that doesn’t distinguish itself.

draft at bottle rev. had side by side with wicked weed peoples choice and this was better in the taste and aroma department. Thought it was a nicely done pale ale.

11/26/13. 12oz can. Orange amber pour with a small khaki head. Mild aroma, malty, some doughy malts and caramel, touches of orange peel and earthy/floral hops. Mild, malty flavor. Malty again, some caramel, earthy, floral hop character. Meh.

Can into pint glass, cloudy gold color with some white head. Aroma of malt sweetness and floral/citrus hops. Taste starts off with light citrus hops, fades quickly into light malt sweetness. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with a surprising clean dry finish. A lighter take on the style, just a refreshing pale ale.

Can from trade, can’t remember who because it has been sitting around for a bit. Thanks! Pours a light clear golden with small white head. Huge floral aroma like potpourri, but not to the point that makes it in appealing. Slight citrus as well. Flavor is a combo of citrus and big floral notes. Actually nicely crisp and refreshing. Light body and high carbonation. Nice brew that could be enjoyed as a session it seems.

Cloudy pale yellow-orange color. Good lace and retention. Aroma of sweet hop, citrus, wheat, and water. Pale flavor and mild bitterness. Taste is spiced hop, water, grass, cinnamon. Very clean. Medium body.
