12 oz bottle. Pours a golden orange with some light floaties and a big, rocky offwhite head. The aroma is spicy hops mostly, with some hints of yeast and light sweet malt. The flavor is a nice spicy bitterness with just a touch of grapefruit. It’s balanced with some light toast and malt character. The hops become more herbal toward the finish, where there is also a bit of graininess. Mild bitterness lingers into the aftertaste. Not bad.

Hazy orange out of the bottle with a short lived white head. Sweet candied grapefruit rind nose. Thin grapefruit juice flavors with some malts underneath. Easy drinking IPA but not very interesting.

Mildly hazy dull golden pour, with tan head. Citrus and herbal hop notes, with freshness and caramel backbone. Hop tea finish. Decently high bitterness. Pretty good, but nothing special.

THOUGHTS: Nice. Very well balanced. Nice and intense transition from sweet to bitter. Became a little too sweet part of the way into it, but still enjoyable. It was sort of like the flavor profile of a Double IPA in the body and ABV of a regular IPA. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy, light, orange with a large, off-white head that mostly diminished and left excellent lacing. The aroma wasn’t bad, but it was very weak. There was very light caramel; moderate, pine and citrus hops, but mostly orange hops; along with slight honey. There was also some apricot with first poured. The initial flavor was sweet and light to moderately bitter; while the finish was heavily to almost harshly sweet and rather to heavily bitter with a long duration. There was marmalade, sugar water, caramel malt, grapefruit hops, orange hops, other citrus hops, a little pine hops, apricot, ever so slight cream (in an orange creamsicle sort of way) and a tiny bit of toast, too. The medium body was slightly syrupy with lightly fizzy carbonation and a slightly metallic finish.

Bottle. Pours a hazy bronze body with a white head and decent retention. Light pine and grapefruit notes with a modest caramel background. Mild bitterness with a light citrus tone. An average ipa.

Thanks James (Mr. Tampa Pourhouse). 12oz bottle pours up clear deep gold with off white head. The aroma is sweet and estery with firm pine hops and flowery perfume notes peaking out here and there. The taste has equal amounts of sweet malts and pine hop bitterness with lesser amounts of floweriness around the edges from the floral hop addition. Nice IPA.

12 oz, bottled 02/10. Foggy orange brown with a white head. Nose is orange, toffee and grass. Medium light with a crisp bite, kind of resiny. Taste is orange peel, toffee and pine. Pretty good at 9 months old.
