Made with hops grown in the good ’ol USA... you’ll proudly support American farmers when you drink beer! Light copper in color, it has an intense hop aroma and strong hop bitterness. Our hopback process uses fresh hop cones to take this IPA to unexpected placed. Prepare for a mouthful of flavor.

The appearance of the beer comes off with a nice hazy orange tint to it, no sediment, with a mild creamy head that clung to the side somewhat, decent carbonation. (almost like a hefeweizen). The smell is a mild citrus smell and has some residual hoppy smell too (IMO the worst part of this beer but I dont buy beer to smell them). The taste starts off mild until you swallow then you get a nice hoppy taste with some malty flavors to it too (a nice combination that isn’t overpowering but maintains a good taste). The mouthfeel is a very nice hoppy holdover, again, not overpowering but lingering well. Overall, this is a very nice beer from a brewer that I have not experienced before. If the rest of their beers are brewed this well, I look forward to trying more of them. My best friend was kind enough to bring me up a sixer from Charlotte and I have asked him for more of it.

12 oz bottle. Bottled 05/01/13. (Beverage World) Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Very mild aroma. Weak. Some sweet hops... Sweet hops, mild bitterness and malt in the flavour. Quite strange IPA. Weak. No good.

Pours a very hazy (lots of particles) orange with a little head that dissipated quickly. Aroma is caramel malt with some feint citrus along with other indiscernible notes. Taste follows the nose with perhaps some grassiness mixed and a strong bitterness that lingers. Medium bodied. Definitely more malty than the West Coast IPAs which I prefer. I have no trouble drinking this one but there are way better IPAs out there.

Unfiltered. Cloudy copper color, creamy white lace. Hop, lemon, orange peel, sugar and spice aroma. Decent hop bitterness. Burnt flavor with plenty of hop.

Clear old gold, good 2-finger head, sheet of lace. Taste is caramel malt with a big dose of citrus hops. The malt is strong enough to re-emerge at the finish. Grows nicely through the palate. Solid, malty and hoppy, good drinking.

Appearance: Pours an orange cloud
Aroma: Aroma of light pine, orange, caramel.
Taste: Light medium bitterness, hints of orange.
Palate:Light body

Summary: Decent IPA. Don’t know the age on my bottle, but does the job just not extraordinary.

Bottle. Not the most biting or cutting edge IPA flavor. There’s actually a little caramel and toastiness in the middle, but the bitter hoppy IPA comes through in the finish. I’d love to try the oaked!

On tap at Shaw’s Tavern DC. Pours a hazy orange with some fizzy white head. Nose is soap, grapefruit, pine, orange, some kefir lime. Flavor is bracing with bitterness, blood orange, kumquat, pine, malt, grass, nettles. Full bitter finish. Could be a little more nuanced.

The appearance is a golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some citrus and herbal notes. The flavor is slightly sour with some bitter notes. There are mostly lemons present in the flavor. Overall a little one dimensional but not bad, just not great.
