Made with hops grown in the good ’ol USA... you’ll proudly support American farmers when you drink beer! Light copper in color, it has an intense hop aroma and strong hop bitterness. Our hopback process uses fresh hop cones to take this IPA to unexpected placed. Prepare for a mouthful of flavor.

Sisters pours a hazy apple juice light amber with no real lace to speak of. Light Hop nose with just a hint of sweet and salavatingly enticing astringentness. Body is fizzy on the tongue. Taste is Very dry with just a hint of bitters and sweetness on the finish. Mostly all aftertaste. Somehow I would have liked just a bit more.

From bottle. Hazy orange color. Small to no head. Small hops aroma. Taste is beard with a bitter hop bite. Needs a little more sweetness to balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Hazy orange, no head. Very plain smell for an IPA, lots of bread and yeast. Taste is similar, a little hop bite in there too. Not much to see here folks.

Hazy amber with a decent white head. Left some lace. Aroma was very laid back, full of bready malt, light grassy hops, a faint citrus if you hunt for it. Flavors were grassy and bitter, good touch of caramel from top to bottom. Mouthfeel was nice, on the medium to full side with nice carbonation. Overall this was decent but very forgettable at the same time.

12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Bottled on: 07.25.12.

Appearance: Pours a hazy, golden-copper body with a moderate-sized, white head. Not too much lacing going on here.

Smell: Pale, bready malts but not overly effusive; fairly subtle, then, the citrusy, leafy, grassy hops with its implied bitterness.

Taste: Pale malts, touch of brioche, with a low, low caramel quality. Large amounts of citrus, heavy on the grassiness, light on the resins. Moderate bitterness. Growing, raw grassiness on the back half carrying the bitterness through to the smooth, bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. A scant bit oily, but also a bit creamy.

Overall: Good if you like’m grassy.

Tasted on 8/14/12 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased at Bruisin’ Ales. Pours clear orange with a thick and fluffy white head that slowly recedes to rocky lace. The nose is dried citrus peel hops with some resin and a bit of caramel/bread malt. The flavor is the same, very dry and bitter, herbal citrus hops, with a light bread and caramel malt backbone. The body is fairly light with average carbonation and a long bitter herbal and citrus hops finish.
