Sunny Haze will brighten even your finest day. "Hefe" means "with yeast" so expect to find our hefeweizen cloudy in appearance due to its unfiltered status. Fruity hints and slight spiciness of this hefeweizen will mingle in your mouth, creating a crispness that’s as energizing as the sun itself. Banana and clove-like aromas add interest and depth to an already impressively well balanced brew. There’s no doubt; it’s meant to be a Sunny Haze kind of day.

Hazed yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of clove and medium banana. Flavor mirrors aroma with no bitter. Light bodied with aggressive carbonation.

Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma of banana, hay, and clove spice. Fairly light bodied for a hefeweizen. Flavor mainly bananas esters slight bubblegum, just a hair of clove spice, and some rather soft carbonation. A little more body would be nice. Finishes rather fast. Could definitely be a dangerous summertime beer. Wish I drank this in the middle of july.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2013 Aroma is where this brew shines exuding banana, melon jolly rancher notes. Pours a murky straw yellow with a small ring of white head. Has a nice full mouthfeel. Flavor is banana pudding with tart lemon notes.

Can from Vintner Wine Market. This is a light orange, very cloudy. The aroma is a bit funky at first, very grainy with citrus and distinct tartness like a wet blanket. The flavor is sweeter with a light palate. Yeast is not overdone, actually there isn’t a whole lot of anything going on. I suppose Sunny Haze’s purpose is to be a thirst quencher from the can and it accomplishes that well enough.

Can shared with maniac. Pours a hazy milky yellow with a dense white head. Lemon citrus is the biggest note here. Some clove, some faint bubblegum on the tail. Only semi refreshing though. Meh. Glad to see they are canning though.

12 oz. can from SoHo Organic Market in Elizabeth City, NC. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Expected aroma of bubblegum and lemon peel. The citrus takes a backseat to the wheat in the flavor with heavier notes of banana and bubblegum. Light and refreshing. It’s a hefeweizen so there’s nothing that will blow your mind here, but it’s a very well done hefe.

From a can at Barley’s, Asheville. Slightly cloudy yellow -I guess I should say hazy yellow. Decent sized white head. Typical hefe aromas - yeasty, fruity, you know he drill. Flavor is pretty much what you’d expect. Very soft, fluffy palate. Nothing earth shattering, but well made and tasty.

Can. Thanks argo0. Aroma is banana, clove, citrus, yeast. Appearance is pale yellow, small white head. Taste is typical hefe. Flavor similar to aroma, tad bit watery, but fairly drinkable.
