Sunny Haze will brighten even your finest day. "Hefe" means "with yeast" so expect to find our hefeweizen cloudy in appearance due to its unfiltered status. Fruity hints and slight spiciness of this hefeweizen will mingle in your mouth, creating a crispness that’s as energizing as the sun itself. Banana and clove-like aromas add interest and depth to an already impressively well balanced brew. There’s no doubt; it’s meant to be a Sunny Haze kind of day.

From a can at Barley’s, Asheville. Slightly cloudy yellow -I guess I should say hazy yellow. Decent sized white head. Typical hefe aromas - yeasty, fruity, you know he drill. Flavor is pretty much what you’d expect. Very soft, fluffy palate. Nothing earth shattering, but well made and tasty.

12 ounce can thanks to Spencer. Pours a cloudy straw/orange color with a small white head, very hazy. The aroma is grains, honey and oranges. The flavor is nice; sweet bananas, some light citrus, earthy grains. Very smooth.

Can poured into a weizen glass. Very excellent hefeweizen. It is an awesome light, hazy yellow with a big white head. Wonderful banana/clove flavor. Medium carbonation. Overall a very excellent beer. One of my favorite domestice Hefe’s

Hazy gold pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is phenolic, spicy and maybe a little gum. Clove, light banana, and light citrus.. Not overly phenolic but its there. Much cleaner than shotgun betty and tastier than hurricane hefe, which really isnt saying much as im not a fan of the style..

Pours the color of cloudy cider, one finger frothy white head. Spicy nose, lots of clove with some sourdough character and notes of banana. Bready flavor with grainy notes and a mild sour character. Medium body. Interesting.

Can it. Janet. Lets do the time warp again. Seriously cloudy straw yellow golden with small white head. Quite opaque, really. Pretty nice hefe nose, clove, a little citrus, no real complaints. Flavor is standard with a strang aftertaste. Not really sure what it is just yet, maybe banana cough syrup? Not really a fan of this style, but this isn’t too offensive, it just fails to stand out.

Can from Sam’s. Pours light yellow, hazy and a bit thin looking. Tastes of mild banana, grain, lemon, and yeast. An average but thin hefe, but to be honest, I want thin from a can, because a can means it’s summer and it’s hot and I’m looking for hydration more than anything else. So, um, yep, this worked.
