COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sunny Haze will brighten even your finest day. "Hefe" means "with yeast" so expect to find our hefeweizen cloudy in appearance due to its unfiltered status. Fruity hints and slight spiciness of this hefeweizen will mingle in your mouth, creating a crispness that’s as energizing as the sun itself. Banana and clove-like aromas add interest and depth to an already impressively well balanced brew. There’s no doubt; it’s meant to be a Sunny Haze kind of day.

From a can at Barley’s, Asheville. Slightly cloudy yellow -I guess I should say hazy yellow. Decent sized white head. Typical hefe aromas - yeasty, fruity, you know he drill. Flavor is pretty much what you’d expect. Very soft, fluffy palate. Nothing earth shattering, but well made and tasty.

16 ounce pint - $6.50 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Served up a pale golden body, quite hazed, with a smallish, white, though never-ending head. After knocking out a few handwritten notes, then, firing up the laptop and connecting to the pesky WiFi here, it is still there, the head. After a round of asinine texts from my ex-fiancee, it’s still there, still going strong (presumably all day long).

Smell: No-doubt-about-it malted wheat, with supporting, expected notes of bananas, cloves, and lemon chiffon pie filling.

Taste: Staunchly wheaty, with a big kick of twangy wheat and sweetness akin to whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar. Banana puree cut with whole milk and spiced lightly with a bit of ground clove. Touch of lemon akin to a taste of Lemonheads before you hit the sour core. Light hop character, lightly bitter. The cream and 10x powdered sugar come back before the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Creamyish mouthfeel throughout.

Overall: Seriously, like a hour later, the head has not diminished in size. Large on the wheat character, but a very promising hefe.

Hazed yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of clove and medium banana. Flavor mirrors aroma with no bitter. Light bodied with aggressive carbonation.

Can: The aroma consists of lemon, banana, apple, faint clove, and a touch of sulfur. It pours a slightly hazy gold with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with light lemon and banana. The finish has light apple and a hint of sulfur.
