3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium yellow with an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that diminished quickly, down to a very thin layer and a small collar of residue producing some fair streaky lacing.
The aroma was of a straw malt and a sweaty yeasty with notes of banana, citrus (lemon and maybe a little orange) and a hint of clove.
The taste was mildly sweet with a strong wheat presence from the beginning and then progressed with a big note of citrus and a mild hint of spice at the end. The flavor lasted only a short time and was refreshingly citrusy.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a mild creamy watery texture and had a good strong carbonation.
Overall this brew is a very light Hefeweizen that has a nice low ABV. I found it to be a very refreshing brew, which would be great for those days hanging out on the boat on a hot summerís day...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can @ home, picked up in Charlotte. Pours a cloudy, dull yellow appearance with a nice, foamy, white head. A ton of spicy yeast in the nose that has a sort of nutmeg quality to it. Potpourri, lemongrass, tangerine also offered in the aroma. Slightly acidic and slightly metallic. Flavor is a bit dull, though the can was sitting on a hot shelf for god knows how long. A bit of banana and more citrus. A bit twangy. Decent.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Twelve ounce can from The Veggie Wagon, Carolina Beach, North Carolina, tasted on August 6, 2013. Cloudy yellow hue, small of white head, strong clove nose with a little yeastiness as well, light to moderate flavor of fruit and clove, with the latter less prominent than in the aroma--which is OK by me since Iím not a big clove fan. Somewhat astringent. All right summer refresher.

3/28/13. Sampled during CBC 2013. Light pale golden pour with a fluffy off-white head. Banana, cream, and lemon on the aroma. Banana and citrus in the flavor, more spice, and doughy wheat malts. Not bad.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy yellow color out of the can with almost no head. Light banana, orange peel and spice nose. Flavors of orange peel, banana, clove and some bubblegum. This beer is tingley on the tongue, with some white sugar sweetness. This may be better as a summer refresher.

Gift from SJ. This body mildly hazed golden brew with notes of wheat, corriander, spice and banana. I donít know, it was ok, but lack oomph.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: 12 oz. can from Chips Wine & Beer. It pours a cloudy light gold with a very small white head. The nose has light citrus and clove notes. The flavor carries some of the clove, wheat, yeast, and light lemon notes. Sort of an American wheat/hefeweizen cross. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Decent.

12 oz can
Pours a slightly hazy yellow, clearer than most Hefes. Generous head of white that disappears too quickly.
Sweet perfume aroma of honey and banana.
The flavor is sweet. Good body. Smooth.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. can. Pours a light, hazy gold with a big, fluffy, white head and good lacing. The aroma is bread dough, bananas, cloves, and honey. The flavor is a mellow, balanced blend of bready sweetness, orange peel bitterness, and a little spice. The palate is light, creamy, and a little flat. Overall, this is a great tasting, well balanced beer, but the mouthfeel is a little lacking.
