This beer style is over 400 years old, and continues to enjoy overwhelming popularity. Offering low hop bitterness, it is easy to enjoy. It pours very hazy, with a light gold color... we say itís like summertime in a glass. Bitter orange peel and fresh coriander add zest and depth to this light, refreshing beer.

12 oz bottle - poured a hazy gold with a decent head and nice lacing throughout. Aromas of wheat, lemon, yeast, coriander and some spruce. Flavors of wheat, yeast, lemon and coriander - exactly what I expected from the aroma - no disappointment there. Body was light, crisp and very refreshing. I really like the beers coming out of the this local brewery.

Bottle from Chip the Beer Guy and a pretty solid wit which nicely balances coriander, orange peel and spices. Mouthfeel had medium texture and good amount of carbonation to boot. Good summer wit.

12 oz. bottled 05-10. Hazy golden with a lasting disc of foam. Nose of acidic yeast, citrus, light resin. Flavor is wheat, zesty orange-lemon, pear, clove, coriander and bubblegum. Medium body is tingly and refreshing. One of the better American takes on the Witbier style.

Bottle from Bruisiní poured into a tulip glass. This looks really light for a witbier. Itís solid yellow and hazy, not as cloudy as I would expect. A decent white head forms on top. I lean in to take a whiff: uh-oh. This smells like Budweiser a little bit. Notes of corn and newspaper with compost undertones are found, though I can tell this is a wit by aroma alone since there are some obvious citrus and banana scents as well. The flavor isnít as rough as I anticipated. Itís light with refreshing citrus notes and weak spices. That same newspaper/Bud thing is going on but not as strong. This bares strong resemblance to Blue Moon.

Surprisingly good. Medium bodied with a nice wheat malt backing. Light cinnamon spiciness. Didnít taste the orange. Well balanced. Some yeast in the finish.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of wheat, yeast, coriander and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of wheat, yeast, coriander and orange zest with a crisp lingering coriander finish.

Golden, lots of tiny floaties, off white ring. Floral, lavender, light spicing and lemon aroma. Taste is more light spicing, some citrus, lemon.

Bottle. The description says, "It pours very hazy"...my bottle poured completely clear, absolutely not haze. A bit of an off aroma with some sourness and mold hiding a nice dough scent. Tastes better than it smells with citrus, rice, and yeast. Finishes with sour and a bit of hops. This ones pretty easy to drink, though I gotta say Iím not impressed with how it smells or looks. (This one needs to be rerated...itís an old bottle Iíve had around too long.)

Pours a light straw color with nice carbonation and little to no head. The nose is orange zest, honey and a nice earthy wheat backdrop. Easy drinking with citrus and grain flavors. Maybe a little light but a nice summer beer. Finishes clean.
