COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer style is over 400 years old, and continues to enjoy overwhelming popularity. Offering low hop bitterness, it is easy to enjoy. It pours very hazy, with a light gold color... we say it’s like summertime in a glass. Bitter orange peel and fresh coriander add zest and depth to this light, refreshing beer.

Pours a light straw, somewhat hazy colour, much carbonation, but very little head foam. Aroma of cloves, lemon peels, yesters and biscuits. Flavour was much of the same, smooth wit beer.

Mother Earth’s Weeping Willow puts Blue Moon to shame. Can taste the orange in the beer. However it is dryer than a normal wit and is less filling. The appearance is also very classy

Had this at the Chef & Farmer resturant in Kinston, NC. It Poured a hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of coriander, cardamom, orange peel, citrus fruits, and honey. True Belgian Style Wit. Yeast is no doubt a treu Belgian Yeast strain. Alcohol is nicely hidden. We had a party of 10 and it was definatly their favaorite beer, and I am not sure that it will not become my beer of choice if they ever release it.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2010 Pours a very bright lemon rind yellow with a mild soft haze and a one finger frothy white head. Nose is zesty and citrusy, light spice, mild wheat funk, lemongrass, a tad earthy with some hay. Flavor is soft, mild citrus notes, some wheat, orange, a very nice sweetness, develops a grassy/hay character with warmth. Palate lacks is soft with a mild carbonation. Beer lacks character, nice but very soft.

Admittedly, this is one of my least favorite styles, but this is pretty decent for what it is. Pretty standard wit. Banana, clove, coriander, some pineapple. Very light and seems to have low ABV. Not my thing, but it might be yours.
