This beer style is over 400 years old, and continues to enjoy overwhelming popularity. Offering low hop bitterness, it is easy to enjoy. It pours very hazy, with a light gold color... we say itís like summertime in a glass. Bitter orange peel and fresh coriander add zest and depth to this light, refreshing beer.

12oz bottle, purchased on 2/23/15 from Habersham in Savannah. Bottled 10/13/14. Clear golden color. Good thin white head. Decent ridge of lace. Up front, very bready tasting, tastes very much like a very clean lager.. Not necessarily a bad thing, just not what I was expecting for the style. Good coriander and zest comes forward next. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, kind of crisp lighter to moderate carbonation. Light slick texture. Moderate sweet taste, good mild zest. Light spiciness. Pretty tasty, balanced belgian wheat ale. Nice to enjoy with my sandwich.

Very aggressive soda like carbonation on the pour but a disappointing lack of foam. Typical aromas & cloudy pale yellow color for the style. Very very sweet, almost artificially so. A lot of bubblegum, the usual clove & coriander spiciness & maybe some tropical fruit? Overall smooth, fruity & sweet.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with little head retention. Aroma of lemon grass, pepper, Belgium spice and coriander in taste. Smooth pepper finish. Above average carbonation. Pretty easy to drink. Just enough taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. I donít get any aroma from it, either the bottle or the glass. No head, golden yellow color. Tastes alright, smooth, light to moderate carbonation. Floral maybe, and citrus taste. Not a fan, kind of average.

Multiple 12oz bottles consumed at a wedding in NC this past weekend. Poured a light golden color with a small white head. Aroma was notes of light grain, sweet, crispness, light orange notes. Flavor was light sweet zesty notes, wheat, and a little tartness. Perhaps not my first choice, but it quenched my thirst when it was nearly 100 degrees and I had to wear a tux for an outdoor wedding.
