COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer style is over 400 years old, and continues to enjoy overwhelming popularity. Offering low hop bitterness, it is easy to enjoy. It pours very hazy, with a light gold color... we say its like summertime in a glass. Bitter orange peel and fresh coriander add zest and depth to this light, refreshing beer.

Mine was not hazy at all... Very clear almost like a miller high life. Carbonation was strong. Underwhelming mouthfeel, but a nice orange flavor emerges when you let the beer warm up some. The belgian wit flavor is something you have to search for in this one, not completely apparent. This seems like something to choose if you are on the beach.... like the OBX lol. Nothing offensive, but nothing to like either

Pretty sweet taste. Aroma of fruit, coriander, yeast. Fairly light body. Sweet finish, not much hop bitterness.

Another vacation in the SOBX, another year drinking some NC brews. Bottle poured into pint glass, cloudy golden color with white head. Aroma of yeasty wheat, pale malt, citrus(orange & lemon) and spices (coriander, peppery). Taste is bready, more orange peel, yeasty, some clove and grassy hops. Light body, moderate carbonation, sweet, spicy with dry finish. Pretty good wit I say.

Light golden color. Clear. Some head, disappeared. Lace, barely clinging on. Smell; lemon, malt, hop, spice, coriander, pepper, corn, yeast. Nice. Thin body as it should be. Some bite. Very citrusy, pale earthy, and mild spice. A moderate-good wit beer.

Bottle. Cloudy blond with a short, fizzy white head. Aroma is citrusy with lots of yeast, wheat, sweet malt and light spice. Up front the taste is yeast and citrus with light bubblegum, wheat, toasted malt and light spice following it up. Body is light with a strong, prickly carbonation. Finishes with sweet malt, citrus notes, yeast, wheat, light grains and soft spice.

Appearance: Light cloudy haze with lemon hues under a white head that fades into a solid layer, albeit thicker along the sides. Swirls thick but no lace.
Nose: Citrus zest followed by spice, all of which are wrapped up in soft white wheat breads. Delicate orange blossom esters. Chewy yeasty quality to the wheat. Coriander.
Palate: Chewy sweet breads with white wheat along the sides. Green grass, spice, and orange blossom in my breath. White pepper, coriander, and rose water. Key lime zest.
Final Thoughts: Not too shabby albeit not too complex either. I would have appreciated a little more oomph and a little more depth to the flavors present. Overall though, Id drink it again if offered considering I drank the whole 6pack that had gifted to me.

Chilled 12 oz. bottle at Chuchkey poured into a glass. Pours hazy pale yellow with small white head with dissapates quickly. Aroma is rich orange, little lacing, light body, and little carbonation. Taste is nice rich orange, some slightly bitter orange peel, with a hint of coriander which peaks at times. Refreshing, but rich orange makes this better than most.
