This beer style is over 400 years old, and continues to enjoy overwhelming popularity. Offering low hop bitterness, it is easy to enjoy. It pours very hazy, with a light gold color... we say it’s like summertime in a glass. Bitter orange peel and fresh coriander add zest and depth to this light, refreshing beer.

Comes together great for style. Coriander and floral yeast, bread yeast. Cloudy golden with good head and lacing. Finishes with light and sweet sourness, some citrus as well. Tap at Summerfest DC.

Absolutely love this beer. Nice golden color. Pours a hazy white head. Just the right amount of orange peel and coriander. Great summer brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ home, picked up in Charlotte. Pours a fairly murky dull yellow appearance with a dull white head. A lot of spicy coriander in the nose. Orange citrus / citrus peel, spicy yeast nose. Kind of soapy / potpourri flavor. A massive amount of coriander in the flavor. Low sweetness and bitterness. Not too great.

Thanks to my partner in the Carolina swap for yet another excellent session beer. A light wit that goes as well on a cold winter afternoon as during a heat wave it proves that bigger is not always better. I look forward seeing what else the area has to offer.

Aroma / Appearance - Active carbonation bubbles in a golden transparent body. Bleached white head appears as if somebody sprinkled a handful of fresh snow on top. Lemon zest, bananas, sweet esters, and crisp dryer sheets perk up the senses after just one whiff. Without going to extremes it has amazing depth.

Flavor / Palate - Honey, lemons, and 7UP tickle the tongue. Soon a wave of dryer sheets rises up before sticking in the throat with a yeasty finale. Light and airy it is almost like a summer day in liquid form. This is one of those nice back deck / porch beers that works all four seasons of the year.

@ Whole Foods Market / Asheville --- Hazy light golden color with a 2" head that settles to a head cover, bits and streaks of lace. Taste is mild wheat and malt that is infused with citrus and light spices. A little watery as it moves through a lightly bittered finish. Drinkable, but not exactly memorable. Overall, a thin example of the style.

Mine was not hazy at all... Very clear almost like a miller high life. Carbonation was strong. Underwhelming mouthfeel, but a nice orange flavor emerges when you let the beer warm up some. The belgian wit flavor is something you have to search for in this one, not completely apparent. This seems like something to choose if you are on the beach.... like the OBX lol. Nothing offensive, but nothing to like either
