3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled on 06/23/12
Tasted on 8/10/12 from a capped 12oz bottle purchased at Bruisin’ Ales. Pours hazy golden/yellow with an average white head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is light wheat malt with zesty orange peel and coriander, very nice and balanced. The flavor is the same, really driven by the bittersweet orange peel, with the coriander spices taking a back seat along with the wheat malt. The body is light with a somewhat sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a long spicy and bittersweet orange peel finish. This is a very nice Witbier.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Well it’s a simple brew , but it’s supposed to be for the style. Some notes of wheat , corriander , citrus / lemon and mild hop. A nice little bitter finish. Not bad.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is a little wheat and spice. Taste is disappointingly bland and a little skunky. Overall not what I hoped for.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours pale, hazy yellow with a small, white head and good lacing. The aroma is lemon peels, coriander, hay, and bread dough. The flavor is sweet and citrusy, with faint bitterness in the finish. The palate is light to medium, crisp and a little grainy. This is a surprisingly delicious witbier. Light, refreshing, and yet still delicious and yeasty. Very nice.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Rated at Brew Bern 2012. This one was one of my least favorite beers I had here. It seemed a bit like fermented meh. It was a little skunky to me and made me not very happy.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into pint glass. Hazy yellow with big white head. Nice body here with some banana and lots of spice in the flavor. Finish has a touchy of lemon and more cinnamon and pepper. A bigger bodied and decently spiced version of this style.
