4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Originally reviewed: 6/17/10. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a clear pale gold with a thin white head on top. No retention; no lace. Scents of salt water taffy, bubblegum, orange zest, and light grains.
The mouth is crisp and effervescent. Very good flavors of lemon, tart yeast, white bread, with a semi-sweet finish. Admittedly, this is not one of my favorite styles, but I am enjoying it more and more. This one is a good representation, IMO. Tart and refreshing. Recommend.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Super hazy rainbow yellow. White head if it really had a head. A true wit taste. Not my favorite but it's a beer. Worthy of a try after drinking all night.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Grass, lemongrass, and coriander nose, very green. Hazy yellow, medium head with little retention. Malty, grassy, coriander, lemongrass flavor. Medium body, alcohol not noticed. Crisp clean finish. Full of flavor and complexity, but sessionable as a good wit should be. Quite nicely hopped without being what one might call a white IPA. Great job!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
So clean and fresh. The spice notes on the tongue and roof of my mouth were enjoyable. For a Wit, this is definitely worth drinking.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Pour easily into a clear, pale yellow stillness, with what little head appeared giving up nearly right away. Crystal clear, not hazy as you’d expect. This drinks like everyman’s beer, with just the slightest hint of the orange and coriander, barely enough to make you think it might be a wit. No imperfections here, just unexciting. 4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma is strong and surprisingly fruity, having components of sour apple and orange. It pours a rather nice somewhat hazy amber with a decent white head. I noticed a few goobers floating around, but they were not off-putting. Flavor is sublime - wheaty and yeasty with an overtone of honey and good fruity notes, mainly sour orange with hints of apple and lemon, and as I continue to drink, herbal and clove tones - very tasty. Texture is smooth but only slightly fizzy, leaving a slightly sweet fruity finish. A good drink to enjoy in winter, this brings a little sunshine into a cold, cloudy day - and as I drink this, the weather is dreary, cold and wet.

Light hazy golden pour with thin white head. Lemon, spice and wheat aromas. Thin mouthfeel with light spice and light lemon flavor:

Bottle. Very heavy on the coriander- or at least the coriander is pronounced which for me is a plus. Alas it also has a perfumet-ness that’s a little heavy for me.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very slightly hazy straw colored pour with a huge foamy white head. Aroma of yeasty esters and coriander. Weird very slight whiff of sulfide as well. Flavor similar to aroma with a slight sweetness. Medium bodied and medium carbonation (I’d prefer a bit more). Not bad ... but I’ve had better from Mother Earth.
