Draft - Not much of a nose, light grains. Pale gold with a thin white head. Biscuit and some very light bitterness that finishes clean.

Thick white head poured from 12 oz bottle. Chewy bread flavor, slightest note of pear and nougat but not in an overly cidery or sweet way.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from T’s Liquors. Pours golden with a very thin white head. Doesn’t leave much lacing to speak of. Not much on the nose. A slight fruitiness on the tongue which also feels a bit like corn oil. finishes clean. not my favorite style.

Btl pours yellowish hazy copper color very weak head that vanished before pour finished. Smells of sweet caramel malt and cheap perfume. Very sweet taste with a slight twang in the end. Slippery texture with a dry finish. Very low carbonation almost flat. Too sweet no balance. I think something is wrong with this bottle. Infected, old I don’t know. Every mother road beer i have tried has been great. Hate to rate it low but it is not good. Will have to try to get a hold of another and re rate if better.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanks, Terry, for bringing this back from Arizona. Pours a clear dirty gold with a modest head that stays on the rim, dots surround a streak of lace. Taste is robust for a kolsch: sweet caramel malt grows while yielding to light floral hops. The taste is not complex, and the sweetness at the onset is only momentary, barely noticeable in a return at the end of the finish. A little filling, but enjoyable.

This is nice. Fairly dark for a kosch but it’s got a nice easy flavor and is very sessionable and unassuming. Feel like I need another to truly score it, it went by so fast.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12oz bottle pours crystal clear deep gold with copper hues and supporting a weak off white head. The aroma is sweet with some pear like esters, floral with hops and I’m not getting much else. The taste is similar with mild floral hops to almost earthy lime like citrus hops that are quickly swallowed whole by sugary malts and sweet pears to sweet apple estery sweetness. Wow, this just has way too much sweetness that muddles the experience. This is yet another example of trying this style in Cologne from the wooden barrel has ruined me on American brewed attempts at this style. This stuff here stinks by comparison as it lacks the crisp fresh snappy light yet richness and balance this style deserves.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear gold color with a small white head. The aroma is pretty light but pleasant- pale malts, grass, lemon. Flavor is the same. A hint of clove, some cereal. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Really nice kolsch.

Originally had on draft at pine canyon after I had their black ipa. Somewhat skewed my palate so I picked up a sixer of it to head down to the valley. Golden copper pour with decent white fluffy head that hangs in there throughout the drink. Aroma sweet honey and banana clove. Crisp refreshing honey thats somewhat creamy on the palate and has just enough of a dry finish to balance....Pretty good sessionable summer beer especially down here in Phoenix.
