A salute to our founderís grandmother, DíLila offers a blend of fruit & citrus flavors. Fermented like a traditional wheat beer and hopped like an IPA, Motherís big golden wheat challenges bolder brew lovers, yet lemon and orange peel with bergamot tea make DíLila a delightfully easy-drinking treat for all.

Reddish gold in appearance, thickish head. They arenít kidding about this being "super hopped." Lots of bitterness and a bit unbalanced.

Tap - average size foamy head, clear light copper color, fruity floral hop aroma and flavor, sweet wheat backbone, very mild alcohol warming notes - pretty good overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A cloudy reddish orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is heavy on wheat and tropical fruits. The flavor is similar, like a hoppy hefeweizen.

355ml bottle. Hazed gold, weird vegetal note, gooseberry, not really a pleasant beer.

This was courtesy of Doran via a trad. It poured a hazy yellow with a foamy hite head. Nose of wheat and floral and citrus hopsl Bold in body, probably from the wheat/ The flavor shows the wheat and the citrus, in good balance. Easy drinking and quite enjoyable.

Pours amber with an inch of white foamy head and lots of sediment floating around. Aroma is oranges and some floral. Flavor follows and, oddly, comes across as very malty but not wheaty. Nice beer. Very drinkable.

Pours cloudy orange with a terrific finger-length head that lasts for quite some time and leaves tightly bubbled rings of lacing. Great aroma of pine, lemon citrus, lemon zest, Fruity Pebbles, and wheat bread. Delicious flavor of lemon, wheat bread, Fruity Pebbles, orange peel, and bitterness. While hopped up for a wheat, itís still easy to see the wheat characteristics. Easily the best wheat Iíve had. Nothing dirty, earthy, or weak about this one, yet itís highly drinkable and sessionable, too. Motherís knocked this one out of the park. Scrumptious!

Bottle - thanks phaleslu! Pours hazy amber with small floaties. Medium off-white head and decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is fairly simple - pine and wheat. Flavor is medium sweet with herbs, pickle notes and a light bitterness. Medium body and somewhat creamy in the mouth. So on my first taste my initial reaction was WTF is this??? but it really grew on me. Definitely a unique flavor profile, and one worth giving a try in my opinion.

12 oz. bottle via in-person STL trade. Pours a cloudy orange-hued gold with tons of sediment and a small, barely off-white head that leaves a few streaks of lace. Aroma of orange citrus, some grass and florals, toasty and caramel malts, sweet tangerine, and wet hay. Flavor of orange and tangerine citrus, pine and florals, sweet and caramel malts, sugar cookie, and nectar. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, semi-bitter mouthfeel that starts almost chewy but dries out. Good, but the smaller version (Sandy) worked a little better for me.
