COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial Three Blind Mice, once Motherís little brown beer, is now all grown up and running the show. Rich and full bodied with chocolate, coffee, and caramel malt flavors, it bestows a noble hop nose and balanced finish on its loyal subjects. This is one regal brew fit for a king - out on the town or home in the castle

12 oz. bottle via in-person STL trade. Pours a deep amber brown with a small khaki head. The flavor and nose are very consistent, with notes of toasted and roasted malts, burnt sugar, earth, faint dried fruits, and just a hint of mild soy. Medium-bodied, with a toasty, boozy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. About what I expected for an imperial brown ale. Not bad. Iím curious to try the bourbon barrel-aged version; I think that would work well.

12 oz served in a snifter A - Pours a dark brown with a small khaki head. S - Dark bready malts, toasted caramel, smells sweet. T - Follows the nose with bold grainy malts, caramel/toffee, sweet with alcohol coming through, some stale cocoa on the finish. Finishes with a dry whole grain cracker like character. M - Medium cola-like carbonation, full bodied, Nothing to really complain about here. Just seemed a little hoe-hum. The regular blind mice was much better. Serving type: bottle 04-29-2013
