Imperial Three Blind Mice, once Motherís little brown beer, is now all grown up and running the show. Rich and full bodied with chocolate, coffee, and caramel malt flavors, it bestows a noble hop nose and balanced finish on its loyal subjects. This is one regal brew fit for a king - out on the town or home in the castle

Pours dark brown with a small head that dies very quickly. Aroma is chocolate, alcohol, general sweetness. Taste is sweet at first followed by a taste of the alcohol. Palate is on the light side for an "imperial" anything. Overall this isnít terrible, just not very enjoyable.

Extra in a recent trade. 12oz bottle, enjoyed at fridge temp in a Teku. 4 finger fluffy big bubble / creamy head. faded very slow. Pour was a light brown. In the glass, a darker brown. A lot of malt presence on the nose with caramel, candy toffee and pumpkin. Certainly a lot of flavor in this one. Dense old fruit, dark fruit simmered with sugar and a touch of tar. Sweet date / fig finish. A bit too much cigar flavors in here. Not a bad brew.

Bottle @ RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting. Dark brown in color with a small khaki head. Fair amount of grape juice, cocoa powder, and brown sugar. A bit of booze and toasted nuts. Fairly sweet taste. Lots of brown sugar, caramel, and grape jelly. Some semi-sweet chocolate in there as well. Mild roasted malt and cocoa powder bitterness.

Bottle from the RBSG GT 2014: Pours a medium brown with a mostly lasting head and spotty lace. Lots of caramel, walnut, brown sugar, plummy and jammy with some milk chocolate and alcohol. Luckily the booze cuts through most of the sweetness. The mouth feel is thin until you consider it is really an amped up Brown Ale. Nothing special but surely drinkable.

12oz bottle 6/23/14 (Judicious Spirits) 48į in Mug-Pours brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, brown sugar, and sweetness. Taste of the same with more malt, toffee, caramel, and slight alcohol. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down smooth.

Keg @ Sideways, Fayetteville. Deep brown with a small head. Some cocoa, dark roasted malts. Toffee dessert. Brown sugar and brown bread. Taste is similarly quite sweet. Hot runny sticky toffee pudding. Meaty cherry and plum compote. Chocolate. Full and somewhat viscous. Rich. Not bad if youíre in the mood for something like this.

Had at Foamfest in Fayetteville. Pours dark brown. Thin tan head. Some caramel and chocolate. Mouthfeel seemed watery and light for the style. Drinkable. Had on tap.

Dark brown pour with a thin light tan head. Malty toffee nose, lots of yeast character. Pretty good. Malt and caramel taste. Some higher alcohols in the finish.

Bottle. Pours a hazy deep brown with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of chocolate with a bit of earthy dark grains and toffee. Flavor has chocolate and dark grain with a hint of sweetness from toffee and a bit of booze.
