2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Steasy66 (542) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 12, 2012
Golden color with light one finger head. Has a really strong banana odor with quite a bit of booze in the nose, pretty surprising for 7%. Taste is very sweet, not a whole lot of hops, some banana and tropical hops in the finish. Carbonation is light, body is thick. Not so good.

An aggressively bitter IPA that has a nice enough citrus-and-floral hoppy aroma but leaves too much resin on my tongue to be very drinkable.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, and malt. Taste is lemons, pine, grass, caramel, and malt. A bit dry at the finish. Nice balance.

The beer pours a golden-orange color with a white head. The aroma is full of orange citrus and biscuit malt. The flavor is a little more complex. The biscuit malt comes through up front, but the hops also are present with some orange and pine. The bitterness is fairly low, but the hop flavor comes through. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 Cuff_Links (35) - - JUL 21, 2012
What a nicely balanced IPA. Probably the best part for me was the finish: super clean. This is an IPA that I can drink and drink. Nice, clean color. Could use a little more aroma, but that is just me. I enjoy alcohol in this range, enough but not too much. When I can road trip to find it, this may be my new IPA of choice.

12 oz bottle purchased at Gomers in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The pour is a mostly clear golden orange, with a small off white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is light spice hops, floral, along with some grain malt. The taste is floral, a touch of musty dank, tropical fruit sweetness, all melding well with the toasted malt. The palate is medium bodied, lower carbonation level and dry lightly bitter finish. Nice enough.

On tap at the brewery tasting room. Pours a golden color with white head. Earthy, grassy, hoppy aroma and flavors. Not very hoppy for an IPA, I would consider it more like an pale ale than an IPA. My least favorite of their beers on my visit to their brewery.
