Youíre in for a helluva burly bite with this one. Motherís India Pale Ale is aggressively hopped in both the wort kettle and aging vessel for a sharp, clean bitterness and fragrant citrus hop flavors. Weíve instilled a mellow malt character as the backbone to balance the elevated alcohol and hop levels IPA lovers crave. Whether youíre an IPA loyalist or just sampling, youíve found yourself a great beer. So spend some quality time with Motherís Lilí Helper.

12oz bottle 7/21/13 (Brown Derby-Springfield)-46į in Hurricane Glass-Pours a clear orangish amber with a small loose white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Taste of hops, citrus, and malt. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down smooth.

Clear, amber-gold with a rocky, white head. It has a citrus hop aroma with a little herbal mixed in. The body is light and somewhat creamy with average carbonation. The taste is mildly bitter with a slightly sweeter, smooth finish.

12oz served in a Sam Adams perfect pint glass. A - A crystal clear amber body with a moundy off-white head. Average retention with very little lacing. S - Sweet Mandarin orange, bready malt, hints of green grass. T - Nice caramel/toffee malt, slightly roasted, doughy bread, sweet tangerines, very light green pine in the background. The pine picks up and starts building bitterness around the edges of the tongue finishing bitter with a kiss of citrus and honey sweetness. M - Very smooth and creamy feel, medium soft carbonation, crisp finish. Not super complex but this is one of the smoothest drinking IPAís Iíve had. It was hard to drink it slow. Good all around. I would definitely drink this again. Serving type: bottle 09-25-2012

Sweet citrusy, floral smell. Taste sweet and fruity. Medium bitterness. There are better single IPAs but there are also worse. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 11/8/2012. Pours slightly hazy orange amber color with a nice 2 finger dense cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, orange zest, floral, orange rind, pineapple, bread, light honey, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of hop notes. Taste of tangerine, grapefruit, orange zest, floral, orange rind, pineapple, pine, bread, honey, and herbal earthiness. Fair amount of piney citrus bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, floral, citrus rind, bread, pine, light honey, and herbal on the finish for a good bit. Good balance and complexity of hop notes; with a good hop/malt balance; and minimal cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a nice IPA. Good hop complexity and malt balance; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pours hazy orange with a small white head that left some lacing. The Aroma was nice with a lot of citrus, notably grapefruit. The taste was similar with grapefruit most prominent and I think I got some peach flavors in there. Itís not complex but itís tasty and refreshing.
