COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Youíre in for a helluva burly bite with this one. Motherís India Pale Ale is aggressively hopped in both the wort kettle and aging vessel for a sharp, clean bitterness and fragrant citrus hop flavors. Weíve instilled a mellow malt character as the backbone to balance the elevated alcohol and hop levels IPA lovers crave. Whether youíre an IPA loyalist or just sampling, youíve found yourself a great beer. So spend some quality time with Motherís Lilí Helper.

What a nicely balanced IPA. Probably the best part for me was the finish: super clean. This is an IPA that I can drink and drink. Nice, clean color. Could use a little more aroma, but that is just me. I enjoy alcohol in this range, enough but not too much. When I can road trip to find it, this may be my new IPA of choice.

Very aromatic hops...a mix of pine, floral, and citrus. Sweet maltiness is highly balanced with the hop bite. Citrus hops are mostly present and very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fast becoming one of my favorite Midwest Coast IPAs - bold citrusy hops peek through an otherwise crisp and balanced flavor profile. Medium texture with a thick persistent head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap - good size foamy head, light-medium amber color, very nice hop flavor - better than expected!

Coppery colored pour. Small white head. Tons of lacing. Big hoppy aroma with a big malty note underneath. Very nice malty taste. Bready. Nice hoppy flavor. Great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Poured a clear amber with a two finger white head and great lacing. Aroma was hoppy with pine, citrus, and floral. Taste was citrus, pine, and sweet malt. Very good IPA.

A pretty nice IPA, dark golden in appearance with a nice thick head. Decent hop character in the aroma and flavor. Grass and lemon balanced with a biscuit and bread body. Tried at the Green Room with the Aberís and Dave in 2012.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2013 The color of this beer is a hazy dark orange with a small white head that fades fairly quickly, and the aroma is a subtle yet pleasant blend of floral hops and citrus hops. The taste is a very nice blend of mild bitterness and slight sweetness, and the palate combines a slightly sticky texture, soft carbonation, medium body, and a fairly abrupt finish.

Good IPA. Strong citrus and floral hop aroma. Golden to amber color with what appeared to be substantial carbonation. Crisp clean palate that matched the carbonation to the bitterness. More citrus hop flavor with a subtle malt background that balanced without much sweetness. Good drinkiní beer.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2013 Nice IPA from a brewery in my neck of the woods! Citrusy, hoppy, malty, and a little piney, though not overly so. Finishes dry. AUGUST 2013 UPDATE: Thought Iíd be a little more descriptive. Most batches of this Iíve had always have an interesting blend of very resinous hop and sweet juicy fruit, almost like mandarin oranges or tangerines. Itís ever so slightly strong to session at the usual pace, but itís so nice to have a local IPA that is certainly above-average in the style. EDIT: I come back to this more often than many other IPAs. Uprating a bit.
