COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Youíre in for a treat with this one. Brewed with cocoa nibs and raisins and then lovingly aged in rum, sherry, bourbon, brandy and whiskey barrels, this big beer takes on flavors from the spirit and wood of each barrel. The end result is a complex and elegant companioin thatís right for carefree nights of privilege and excess.

Wonderful beer, just broke the last one from the cellar and has held up well. The high ratings for this beer are deserved and I cant wait until i get my hands on another MILF next year!

Not the most impressive pour or aroma but mmm the taste! Black liquiorice, raison, roast, & alcohol make this quite complex! Avg black pour w/out much of a head or lacing. The aroma is fairly light w/ some raison & toffee shining through. Very good stuff!

Bottle shared by Countbeer, split with Thompson @ weekly tasting. Opaque pitch black color, average to medium sized dark brown head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, strongly bourbon, rhum and brandy come through as well, a hint of coconut, quite some vanilla but in a good way (since I normally donít like it when a beer has too much vanilla). Taste is pretty much the same: bourbon, rhum, brandy slightly, vanilla in a good way, dark malts, raisins and a suitable bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Pretty damn good!

Countbeer (5337) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 30, 2015
Bottle: Chouffe glass: Pitch black pour. Brown head. Aromas of roast, soy, dark chocolate, port, whiskey, wodka, grain and malt roast, toffee, fudge, some mocha... Flavours of roast and chocolate, bitter, light spice, some coffee, mocha and yes barrels, smooth... Enjoying this one as I did with the 15, different brewery though... Thick but not too thick and rich but not too rich. Good! Aftertaste is roast, chocolate, caramel, malt roast and some bitters. Low carbo, creamy silky mouthfeel, close to full bodied. Almost flawless.

Black with brown edges. Small tan head. Molasses, burnt brown sugar, chocolate. Lots of rich roasted malt flavor. Sweet with some nice booze kick. Some vanilla and coffee. Sherry, bourbon barrel sweetness. Itís a bit muddled but thereís a lot of nice stuff going on. Mild oak. Long roasty, sweet finish. Low-ish carbonation. The alcohol heat is warm and nice. Very good imperial stout.

Pours a dark black with very small bubbly khaki head. Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, raisin, and spirits. Flavor was very nice with chocolate, vanilla, caramel, fruits, wood, and some alcohol. Very complex and interesting mix of barrel aging. Medium to full body, slick texture, medium carbonation. Some alcohol burn to finish as the beer warms up. Very nice.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a mocha head. Boozy/barrel aromas. Lots of booze with rum kind of running the show. Dark roasted malts. Oak, vanilla, and cola lowlights. Good body and mouthfeel.

12oz bottle from Perkins. Black with a dark brown fizzy head that completely disappears. Light sherry, raisin, oak, vanilla, butter, rum, semi-sweet chocolate, roasted malt, mild carbonation, moderate body, somewhat bitter but a sweet boozy finish with mostly rum and some brandy at the end. Interesting.

12oz bottle, received as an extra in trade. Pours a deep, dark brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma is vanilla, brandy, boozy. Medium to heavy on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, chocolate, vanilla, oak, some light dark fruit, sweet, sweet booze, brandy, rum, with a sweet, vanilla finish. Very nice, but a little boozy and one dimensional.
