12 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a load of different notes, especially raisins, rum and liqueurs, followed by cocoa nibs -- man, this is complex with almost too many layers. Flavour is decadent and complex, with loads of different barrels, with rum, bourbon, liqueur, cocoa and raisins. Simply listing the flavours doesnít do this justice, as the mix of them is amazing -- rum and raisins finish this off. Slight alcohol burn as well. Phenomenal stuff.

Really good but almost too many flavors to identify. Aromas of oak, bourbon and other whiskey. Sweetness detected. Pours dark and thick with nearly no head. Almost to the point I feared it was flat but it wasnít. Full flavors of sweet dark roasted malts. Thick and oily. Strong blend of whiskeys that were hard to distinguish. Almost over complicated. Definitely a sipper.

Bottle from Keir, thanks man. Appearance is thick and black with an inch of mocha tan head. Aroma...meow...strong notes of dark fruit, vanilla, sticky sweetness, rum, anise, loads of complexity, lots of barrel. Taste is very light carbonation, almost liquor like, medium mouthfeel, mild roast up front, followed by oak, vanilla, butterscotch, finishes slight bitter with some anise and heat from the booze. Really nice stuff not quite as good as the aroma had me thinking it was going to be but very good nonetheless.

(Bottle) Pours black with a brown head. The aroma holds a well balance barrel profile with a good support from the cocoa and roasted malt. Quite fruity. Round nose with a touch firey alcohol. The flavour is medium sweet, medium bitter and tiny acidic. Chocolaty, fruity and balanced oak alongside roasted malt. The mouthfeel round and light tart with a light to medium carbonation. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle received in trade. Thank you bytemesis! Pours reddish black with a small dark chocolate brown head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with roasted malts, high quality dark chocolate, burnt raisins, caramel, vanilla fudge, salty soy sauce, sherry, roasted coconut, banana bread, sweetened coffee and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter and malty with roasted malts, high quality dark chocolate, moist soil, charred wood, brown sugar sweetened dark roast coffee, raisins in rum, sherry, vanilla fudge, caramelized almonds, coconut milk, banana bread, cookie dough, hay and very subtle hints of iron. Mouthfeel is soft, velvety, round and near full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, high quality dark chocolate, charred wood, raisins in rum, vanilla fudge, coconut shavings, sherry and dark roast coffee. Complex, elegant and very tasty! Amazed that the rather intriguing barrel blend doesnít get messy.

Bottle to glass. Pours a deep black color with a thin rim of light brown head. Aroma is extraordinary, with lots of roasted malts, chocolate, dark fruits, and rum/brandy. Flavor a bit more on the roasted malts and dark fruits. Medium body with a lingering dark fruits and after dinner liqueurs. Wonderfully delicious!
