COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You’re in for a treat with this one. Brewed with cocoa nibs and raisins and then lovingly aged in rum, sherry, bourbon, brandy and whiskey barrels, this big beer takes on flavors from the spirit and wood of each barrel. The end result is a complex and elegant companioin that’s right for carefree nights of privilege and excess.

Pours malty black with a perfect head to it. Smells of sherry and oak and rum. The taste is so complex with so may different levels of taste. This is one of the most original stouts I have a had in a long time. It time this can be known as one of the best beers in the world

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, thick black pour with tan head, thanks a ton Brandon! Aroma brought notes of dark cocoa, cocoa nibs, dark fruits, spirit barrels with rum, brandy notes prevailing, some vanilla. Taste was a mix of dark fruit, chocolate, cherry, cocoa nibs, hints of oak, rum, slight whiskey, finishing sweet, great mouthfeel. Excellent.

(Mother’s MILF) Bottle 355 ml from RobertDale, many thanks! Served into a snifter, ABV 11% Totally black coloured body with two fingers of thick, dark brown head on top, with very good retention. Nice aroma with chocolate, toasted malts, light alcohol, not as complex as I expected though. Taste is better, alcohol and vanilla, roasted malts, chocolate, bourbon and light brandy. Thick body with good carbonation. Another very good, big american stout.

Bottle thanks to my boy brandon! Pour is nearly black with a small ring of brown foam. Aroma is chocolaty and sweet with fruity notes along with some dingy barrell character and some tobacco. Seems like the sherry and brandy are notable. Flavor is sweet and lightly roasty with lots of sweet barrel character, very light smoke, and some peat. No alcohol at all. Rounded lasting finish with dried fruit and vanilla noted. Light soft carb. Flavor better than Aroma. Tasty stuff!

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Aroma is interesting with a moderately strong raisin note and some lighter chocolate notes. Some burnt sugar notes and hints of roast and leather. Some light alcohol spice. Some prune and cherry notes. Pours black with a medium sized, moderately thick, dark tan head that recedes to a thin film that lingers on the edges for quite some time. Faint lacing moderately long legs. Flavor is moderately to fairly sweet with quite a bit of chocolate. Some medium light raisin notes and some light roast. Medium bitterness. Some medium light alcohol spice. Some light vanilla notes with lingering chocolate. Hints of berry and prune. Mouthfeel is full bodied and somewhat creamy with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice, high alcohol beer. Lots of raisin and dark fruit in the aroma but a lot more chocolate and malt notes in the flavor. A bit too much alcohol for me, but still pretty enjoyable.

Really innovative amazing.effort, similar in some ways to bcs, except you can taste the barrels of the various spirits. Crazy good!

I must have had an off batch going by other ratings but this beer was way too complex and boozy for me. So many flavors hitting at once, a bit overkill. Definitely taste the raisins and rum/brandy barreling.

Such a pleasure to enjoy. Almost tastes like a whiskey and beer combo. Hints of chocolate followed by strong flavors of barrell whiskey. At 11 percent you only need a couple to understand the breadth of this beer.

Deliciously thick, creamy imperial. Coffee and chocolate flavors balanced well with sweetness and a bit of nice cocoa dark bitterness in the end. Nice brew.
