COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Motherís all-grown-up beer connects with raspberry, a fine friend for this limited-edition treat. With a fruity, tart sweetness embracing rich chocolate and caramel malt flavors, this big-bodied beer rules a whole other realm. Add a kingís ransomís worth of ABV, and our latest imperial makes a stately companion.

A very nice fruity strong ale. Cocoa, cinammon, nutmeg, plum, and yes, raspberry. Very nice addition.

A clear chestnut brown with a slight ruby tint, a small tan head with tight bubbles that settles to a ring and leaves decent lacing. Aroma of raspberry sorbet, mild chocolate and toasted malt. Taste has raspberry flavoring with a hint of tartness and caramel sweetness along with some dark chocolate, toasted malt that hints a being roasty, some moderate booze and mild bitterness. Finishes semi dry with a lingering toasty/toasty flavor. Mouthfeel is somewhat slick with a medium body and light/moderate carbonation. Not very complex but the flavors do work well together even though I would have liked a fresher raspberry flavor.

22oz bottle. Dark red brown color, mostly clear. Thin ring of off-white head. Bits of lace. Mmmm. Awesome raspberry and chocolate aroma. Moderate sweet taste, light tart. Medium to bigger body. Smooth kind of soft lighter carbonation. Tasty stuff! raspberry and malt notes work well together, I enjoyed this.

Keg @ Sideways, Fayetteville. Deep brown with red highlights. Small head. Nose is dark forest fruits, plum. Some cocoa and dark chocolate. Taste is bright raspberry. Tart and sweet. Cuts the rich toffee and chocolate well. Full body, rich but has good balance. An improvement on the base beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy very dark brown with a creamy light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a rich sweet raspberry (hint of tartness) note with a nice backing of dark grains and a bit of sweet dark bread. Flavor has more of the sweet raspberry with some light dark grains that add some balance.

Bottle #1571. Poured into a tulip glass. Pours a muddy brown, medium fluffy head. Nose is raspberry jam, chocolate, caramel malt. Palate is medium, low carbonation. A little slick. Toffee, nutty caramel flavors. Lots of raspberry. Moderate bitterness. Finishes a little sweet. Really well done.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of raspberry, dark cocoa, hints of earth, slight spice, touch of vanilla, slight coffee as well. Taste is a mix of raspberry, dark fruit, cocoa, dark fruit, nice earth, spice, finishing like a raspberry truffle. Delicious.

22 oz. bottle via in-person STL trade. Bottle #371. Pours a dark brown color with a small tan head. Notes of chocolate, caramel, and toasted malts, nuts, and dried leaves, with only a bit of raspberry initially. But sweet raspberries emerge more as it warms. Light-medium bodied, with medium-high carbonation and a roasty, eventually fruity mouthfeel. Interesting but seems like it could be better.
