Three Blind Mice is inspired by our favorite qualities from English brown ales, German altbiers, and Irish reds. Motherís trio of beer connoisseurs sipped away many a night, working to find this ideal combination. Motherís beautiful brown beer is medium-bodied with caramel, toffee, and subtle chocolate malt flavorsóall balanced by moderate hop notes and a clean, dry finish. Three Blind Mice combines components of several malty beers for the unique brown beer experience youíve been missing. After lots of research to find the perfect styles for our base, the clear winners were the lighter body and caramel characters of Irish red ales, the soft chocolate and toffee flavors from English brown ales, and the hop component and balance of German altbiers. We used traditional elements from each beer style and added our own touch for one incredible brown beer.

Aroma is faint, mild coffee, slight metallic. Pours a medium amber brown with a tan head. Taste is crisp, almost medicinal with a metallic finish. Hints of coffee and caramel

Aroma is chocolate and coffee and roasted malt....Appearance is reddish black. Nice foamy head, lingers well, and pretty nice lacing....Taste is pretty good, I can see where theyíre going with this. The dominating flavor is the roasted malt, and then coffee maybe...Mouthfeel is semi-dry and it also has some creaminess. Roasted malt is still staning out.....Overall, itís a good ale. Not as good as what I was expecting, but one, I would buy again!

Bottle pour into Goblet. Small short-lived head leaving little lacing. Color is deep brown but fairly translucent. Aroma is caramel and chocolate with slight hint of the hoppy flavor to come. Taste is slightly bitter (those hops you smell going in) and slightly salty. For a brown beer it feels pretty light and has good/average carbonation which makes it go easily over the tongue. Not the best Motherís has to offer but an enjoyable brew.

12 oz pour from draft into a shaker pint. Just below room temp. Color is brown, bordering on black. Little head, but that might have just been the pour. Nice lacing. Nose is wood and bread. Taste is very bready and malty. A bit sweet. A lot like a typical brown ale. Would be pretty good with a hearty stew or meat and potatoes.

Thanks Bob! Reddish-brown pour with a light beige head. Aroma is nutty and roasted malt. Taste is roasted malt, nutty finish and aftertaste. Very tasty brown ale. Great from start to finish. Great lacing.

Bottle. Dark brown with minimal head. Big roasty malt aroma, molasses, ashy and maple syrup. Taste is fairly sweet, but doesnít linger. Body is lighter with a bubbly cola feel.

Pours a clear, dark, reddish brown-black, with good-sized head. Fresh aroma, with some floral notes, some hops, maybe a bit of soap. Flavor contains all of these, with some malt, coffee, chocolate. Almost verging over into porter or stout territory, this one.

I think this one should definitely have more than a 65 average score. While itís not the absolute most superior Brown ale Iíve had, it is still very tasty. Nice body of malt and roasty flavor that is sweet but not overbearing with no bitterness to speak of. Very refreshing.

Gusher. Fuck you, @@-Ron. 12oz bottle. Pours a light brown/deep Amber with a gushing head. Aromas of toffee and German yeast esters. Taste is semi sweet and lightly bitter. Some grassy notes, but mostly itís just sweet dumpster juice. Finishes with a ashy note that is way out of place. No.

Sampled during RBSG. From notes. Coffee and chocolate, very Roasty. Caramel and toffee balance it out. Cool.
