Great. Dark black. Smells like the coffee I sipped on earlier today. Some espresso. Roasted. Subtle sweetness in middle of taste. Probably rated it a bit higher than usual because Im on a stout/porter kick....especially coffee stout.

A black body trimmed in mahogany with a light tan, smoothly structured head falling to a thick ring and large island with low lying, extended peninsulas of lace
Big coffee notes dominate with complimentary notes of sweet cream and chocolate on a somewhat gelatinous medium, pretty simple, but enjoyable

Big roasty coffee nose. Some acidity some almost burnt danky notes. Definitely coffee beans. Fresh. Almost black pour with a tan head. Nice full coffee flavor. Some light sweetness underneath. Pretty much all coffee. But not overly agressive or burnt. Only problem to me is flabby carbonation. Other than that it tastes nice.

HURK. If you really really like coffee, I mean like eating grounds straight by themselves with a spoon, youíll love this brew! This beer *literally* tastes like straight burned coffee grounds! Wayyyyyyy too "dark roast" for me to handle. Could barely finish a bottle. Yeck.

First and foremost is the coffee. Not just a coffee bean but a distinct espresso flavor. Everything else is secondary. The other components, malt check, hops, check, balanced but leaving the coffee as the star.

Insane coffee aroma!! One of the most enticing smelling beers Iíve ever come across! The pour is a good dark brown w/ a thin tan head that leaves lacing. The taste isnít quite on the level as the smell but it has a nice coffee flavor & is highly drinkable. It is a bit watery for a stout & w/ a bit more body & a tiny bit of more flavor, this would be exceptional!

From the bottle: Dark brown coffee color with about an inch of tan foam, settling into a thin soapy sheet. Definite aroma of coffee, caramel, cream. The flavor is the same. Nice coffee flavor, slightly bittersweet with caramel. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Good stuff with no overbearing alcohol or sweetness. Tastes like coffee beer :)

12 oz. bottle thanks to GrandaddyKC. Neck stamp date of 10/28/14. Dark black color, with fast vanishing tan head. Aroma is black coffee with roasted barley. The front of the sip shows a large amount of roasted coffee followed by caramel and some bitterness in the back to help balance. Body is lean but that is ok because it is only 6% ABV. Very coffee forward. Extremely drinkable coffee stout, thanks Brad!
