3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I got it for the interesting name style and the fact that it wasnít too expensive. Turns out its a solid beer, and tastes great. Looks more red than amber, but had some solid flavors. Caramel and a bit of honey are quite obvious in terms of taste, might have a bit of citrus and chocolate. After taste was good. I was shocked that it was only 5% ABV... it feels stronger. I would recommend it.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Brown brew with white head. Aroma of mild sweet malt, caramel, tart fruit, old socks. Taste is mildly sweet malts at the start followed by a mish mash of tart fruit and a strong nut flavor. The nuttiness was quite good but it was lost in the fruit and sweet and funk. Finish is jsut rather bland. Not good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2013-09-08. Aroma is malty with a dryish toasty aspect, vaguely English malt character. Flavour is malty, moderately bitter with an English character to it as in the aroma. Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. I had a couple of these but it was just okay. Bottle at Cafe DíMongoís Speakeasy, Detroit

9/6/13. 12oz bottle thanks to Brent! Amber brown pour with a small khaki head. Toasty, nutty, biscuit aroma, reminds a lot of Fat Tire specifically. Flavor follows suit. Not bad.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a murky brown color. Aroma of toffee, nuts, mild fruit. Flavor is similar, toffee, caramel, nuts. Itís subtle, unassuming. Very sessionable. I get it. Nice, low ABV. Tasty. Watery bodied. Smooth.

Itís poop. Stupid name. Stupid label. Bad taste. Just a disgrace to beer in general. Avoid this beer.

This is a rough one. Very fruity and bubbly. Like a champaign. Smells really fruity. This will be the last one of these I will ever have.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A tinny alt beer aroma. Pretty translucent orange/orange/brown. Empty flavor, if not a bit metallic. Carbonation is aggressive and constant. Not good, but fun. Blast off.

A solid offering from MCBW. Like all of their beers, Ghetto Blaster is an ideal session beer. The mouth feel is watery, carbonation is pretty low, and the taste isnít overpowering. Although the taste of this one threw me off a little at first, I quickly grew to like it and wound up getting a pint of it when my sampler was finished.
Not the best beer Iíve had, but itís a safe, enjoyable one. Would buy again.

2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap (from itís quirky tap), this was a solid session beer that I enjoyed quite a bit. Pour is a nut brown color, with little head. Barely present nose, maybe due to lack of head. Taste is of a brown ale, nuts and caramel. No deep intense flavor, but easy to drink.

This is ok, but itís kind of an unremarkable example of a type of beer I donít like so much.
If I were thinking about drinking a Bass, I might consider this instead-- almost as sweet, doesnít have the interesting carbonation, slightly nuttier.
All in all itís sweeter than Iíd like, and doesnít have a whole lot of complexity in the taste-- a bit of the nut brown ale thing along with the english ale thing, and thatís it.
