Poured out of a growler. Solid effort here, very nice bitter hop taste, not too over the top but bold enough to stand out. Well done.

The smell was of predominately soured bread with a nose of yeast, pine, and grapfruit. The color was was hazy straw. It poured with an extreme head indicative of a possible infection. Taste was was of soured bread, butter with hints of pine and citrus. The most infected tasting beer I have tried in a long time. I had to dump this one it was awful.

Bottle Pours a light orange color. Small white head. Cloudy with visible lacing. Big dry piney flavor. Tons of bitter but not much balance. I love a good bitter beer, but this one could use some depth to give it more balance. A bit of malt would make this a very nice beer.

I like the aroma but is too faint. I like the pale color but too much sediment. I like the taste but too soft on the palate

Very clear golden coloured body with a zillion small bubbles rising from the bottom, a nice four centimetre tall just of-white head and no haziness at all. Aroma of fresh grapefruit and piney hops with a quite floral and grassy nose, a touch of malt and a very biting hop smell - nice. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and floral hops at first with a good bitterness, but almost no malt at all to provide a backbone - this is just a big hop hit at first that fades to just about nothing in a very quick timeframe. Aftertaste shows a good herbal and grassiness, some straw and hay notes and a good hop bitterness without weighing down the beer. Overall, a decent IPA with more of a california-styled IPA, but this one is still worth trying if you can find it. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 02-August-2013 for US$1.79 sampled at home in Washington on 17-September-2013.

2013-09-08. Hazy bright orange body with a small white head. Aroma is mild, light hop character and light grains. Flavour is pleasantly bitter, moderate citrus, light grains. grapefruit comes out in the aftertaste well after the fact. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay, enjoyable but not a lot of depth to it. Bottle at Cafe D’Mongo’s Speakeasy, Detroit
