Cask @ Moulin. Golden orange colour, reasonable head. Dry grassy malt aroma. Cereal resin malt flavour. Smooth but insipid. Dry aftertaste.

2014-07-06. Dark yellow body with a small off white head and nice lace. 3+ Aroma is mild, light malt, muted floral grassy hops. Flavour is mild, lightly bitter and fairly floral hop character. Average bodied palate, low carbonation. Okay. On cask at Moulin Hotel, Moulin

Had a taste from fresh produced badge at the brewery during our holidays. Cloudy yellow collor with no head. Smell of fruits like oranges. Refreshing taste of flowers/spring forrest. Bitter after-taste.

Amber colour witch almost no head. Light fruity hop notes. Taste is light with hops dominating. I think it has just the right name.

Cask @ Moulin Inn, Pitlochry [280213]
Golden amber, clear, thin white head, good lacing
Aroma of light fruits, light pale malt
Taste of light pale malts, dab of wet hay, soft bitter citrus hop, light soft fruits, light flavour
Palate - light body, bit oily texture. Finish a bit dry, slight zesty but a tad of an astringent linger
Overall - Fairly ordinary, quite watery, it’s drinkable but spoiled by the finish

On tap @ Moulin. Pours amber with a thin head. The nose has honey and biscuits. The taste is of honey, rasins and cornflakes. The palate is medium in body with a medium creamy texture and a sweetish finish. Overall, not bad, but too cloying on the end.

Tasted this at the Moulin Inn, Pitlochry in April 2005. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale copper in colour with a thin white head. Slight roast grain note in the very short aroma. Thin watery mouthfeel and good lacing. Thin pale malt base gives a sweet digestive biscuit note with a hint of soft caramel. Dusty flavour from the hop resins add a slight bitterness to the short aftertaste. Finish starts to run out of legs but malt present with a hazelnut, dry oak cask and leather notes but all are very faint. An ok session Golden Ale.

[cask at Moulin Inn] Pours an extremely pale watery yellow, with a thin tracing of bubbles. Aromas almost nonexistent, just the faintest whiff of malt. Flavour is mostly water, touch of biscuity malt and a very brief aftertaste. Entirely inoffensive, this is session beer at its weakest and worst [30042011]
