On tap (at the brewpub): Deep ruby-amber coloured; moderate malty-fruity nose - traces of raisins and port - ; medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; sweet-bitter finish as well, becoming hoppier in the aftertaste. A fine, well balanced brew

Pitlochry in Scotland in Moulin Hotel, August 15 2005. Cask. Dark brown with a creamy and nice head that leaves a good lace. the aroma is very complex and nice with notes of roasted malt, fruit and cough medicine (the nice one from my childhood). The flavour is nice, smooth and complex. it has light notes of fruits like melon, orange and tangerine, and I also get notes of licorice, coffee and cough medicine. It has a very full body and has a nice balance. I liked it a lot...
