Bottle. Poured cloudy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate yeast and citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with a medium smooth sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable beer.

Bottle 33cl. Poured into a stem glass. Cloudy yellow golden, large frothy white head, diminishes slowly, thin layer remains, good lacing; fruity and yeasty nose, peach, apricot, perfume, floral, bit sourish; taste medium sweet, light bitter, fruity, yeast; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste begins sweetbitter, towards the finish somewhat astringent, bit citrusy, spicy notes; more complex than expected, nice Blonde.

Malt, honey, and lemon zest nose, very bready. Hazy amber, thick head, good lacing. Bready honey, little hop notes, but some subtle grassiness. Slightly buttery, but it works. Full body, alcohol a little strong. Not one of the better Belgian beers, but still quite enjoyable. I have no problem calling it a Biere de Garde.
