Clear yellow, small white head. Sweet, grainy aroma, whiffs of damp basement. Flavour is sweetish, cornflakes and perhaps some hops... Not good.

330ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a thin head. Aroma is cardboard, vanilla and lemon. Taste is caramel, icing sugar and cardboard. Sweet for a pale lager.

Mid gold with thin white transient head. Aroma of grain and orange peel. Surprisingly sweet -too much - and some maltiness. Low carbonation. I’ve had worse lagers than this from the big breweries r

Flaske fra Gml.Strand Øllager, på en solskinnsbenk likeved juli-14: lett, søtlig, nesten som den er laget med mais. Døll. I nærmeste dunk, Ren kbh!

A very dull beer and not what I expected from a Canadian brewer. As it turned out, it wasn’t even from Canada. This tastes like something from south of the border (no, not that border, further south). Somewhat sweet, flat, bit metallic and a vague popcorn flavour. Good looking label though.

Bottle. Light gold with a thin white head. Nose is sweet and corny. Taste is INCREDIBLY sweet. I’ve had this bottle a while, so it’s not in prime condition, but this is still far too sweet. Just a teensy bit of corn, a smidgin of lemon and a LOT of sugary sweetness. Not great.

April 27, 2014 - bottle from Jim. Clear golden pour with some head and lacing. Malt and grain in the aroma and taste. Taste had a little bit of sweetness that I enjoyed. Light and easy to drink, not bad for the style.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pale gold coloured beer with a white head and a strong sweet malty aroma. Relatively low carbonation. Sweet finish. It’s ok.

Pours pale golden with a white head that rapidly disappears. Smells kind of chemically and malty, not particularly pleasant. Has a sweet and vaguely malty taste, bit of a bitter aftertaste. It’s metallic and chemically, not very nice.
