heemer77 (3611), Savannah, Missouri, USA May 11, 2008 Can called Minhas Light. Pale yellow body with a quickly fading head. The aroma has grainy corn and bologna. There is also some bell pepper. The taste is nasty old corn flakes and cough medicine. There is a strong metallic and herbal finish with club soda. Highly carbonated.
LtJudge (353), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Jul 19, 2008 Can called Minhas Light. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Grainy corn juice aroma. Flavor is pretty much the same but a bit of sweetness peeking through. Ok, but tastes horrible once it warms up! pkbites (250), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA May 15, 2008 This actually smells stale while still in the can. Like spilled beer on the bar. Pours the lightest yellow I’ve ever seen. Thin texture in the mouth. Some grassy flavor that’s ruined by an odd sourness. Quick finish with no aftertaste. I’ve had light beers that were worse than this, but that isn’t saying much seeing that all light beer is an abomination to nature. Expensive at $3.99 a six pack. dkazuk (220), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Apr 16, 2008 355ml can.
Pale watery yellow beer with a small fizzy head that fades to nothing quite quickly. Smells and tastes slightly sweet but mostly watery and weak. Skip over this one. JPDIPSO (4189), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 11, 2008 Simply under the name Minhas Light. Same % ABV so I am assuming the same brew verses Black Label, but that is another middle age, white male rant. Light straw color with a taller ultra white head. Aromas of flour and dried flowers. Very fizzy feel. I’m actually catching some malt in this one. A kiss of sweetness that last to mid swallowed evaporates to a light herbal bitterness. and generic sweet linger. Apart from being too fizzy a decent light, as far as lights go. Just don’t let it get to warm.
