1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Impulse buy while stopping in an Indiana liquor store Ė 12 packs of these were stacked up by the register marked at $4.99. Extremely pale yellow brew with white head. Aroma of corn and faint grass. Very thin body with watery flavor dominated by mild but pleasant dry finish. Probably the best you can do at this price pointÖ.

1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
9$ case. It doesnít smell that terrible, taste is pretty bad, but it is cheap and no worse than itís contemporaries. Union Made so slight downgrade but most adjuncts are.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Small batches donít fill several 18 wheelers. 355ml can pours a pale straw color with a finger of white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing. Aroma is grainy and grassy with metallic and chemicals. Taste is grainy sweetness with a grassy and metallic bitterness. More macro swill.

Oh, no, no, no. The same company that brought MOUNTAIN CREEK to the masses brings this MINHAS LIGHT to you for your consumption. Donít do it. Even if an overeager friend brings you one for no charge. donít even think of it. Look him/her/it straight in the eye and scream out "Get the fuck outta here!" as you japslap him to the chest, neck & breast. And as you stand astride him/her/it, give him/her/it a quick donkeypunch and say, "Iím going to get some Blatz, bitch." Cuz thatís how you roll. And you may grin with the solace of a dead man....

Bottled (or canned in this case) as Minhas Light. Not very different from any other Light Pale Lager, but it is locally brewed and Union made.Extra points for being Micro, and for selling at $2.50 per six-pack.

so I am broke and Minhas Light is $9.99 for 24 cans!
Pours very pale yellow with a surprisingly tight and lasting white head.
aroma is grainy with some light corn sweetness. Just a whiff of grassy hop? Or is that my imagination?
Flavour is light with suggestions of grain and grass. Meh. Then thereís a mealy over ripe apple hook to it that is kind of weird. Nothing too bad, just enough to put me off a bit.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
8/19/10. 12oz can labeled "Minhas Light" from cbfobes! Straight from the can like a real man! Light aroma, not much there. Super sweet and corny flavor, like tortilla chips, with a very appley finish. Blech.

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Poured from can into pint glass, very light golden color, and by light I mean it nearly looks like water if I just glanced at it, aroma, what aroma, has taste of light corn and metal, truly a masterpiece by Minhas.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz. can(s) shared by RapeBeer at his house in Indianapolis- thanks, Nick! This is his go-to beer for entertaining crowds when he hosts punk shows in his basement, which is pretty often. $10 for a case makes it understandable. Light, grainy, corny, grassy, and malty. Thereís nothing new or unexpected here, but it drinks very, very easily without too much carbonation and almost no skunk. Thatís all I can ask for with one of these. Consumed fresh, fast, and frequently, this was also fun to pound halfway and throw around the house and on bands (The Dopamines were asking for it). I think this also led to some of the electrical issues in the basement. Not a great beer, but plays a key role in some great memories.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
2 12 oz cans in a big glass mug. Look is just plain pale lager with some visible carbonation. Surprising white rocky head at first that fades to one quarter inch and stays there. Smell is a little mettalic and off perhaps with some of that cheap malt liquor aroma. Typical lager flavors but it comes across a little tart at times. Refreshing none the less. Has a tad of that processed feel to it. Goes down fairly easy with no gag reflex triggering. Goodly amout of fizz to this stuff makes it more palatable. Finish is OK, could be a decent lawn mower beer. Seems to be stronger than the 4% indicated here.

Sampled at the first annual Medicine Hat Beer Festival. I guess this has been re-labelled as "Minhas 75 Light Lager". I the sample glass this is nearly colourless it is so pale. Weak watery dirty grains, corny, bad bad bad.
