COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A well balanced, malty ale brewed with pride of ringwood and citra hops, then dry hopped with distinctive Tasmanian Galaxy hops. It’s medium bodied and just bitter enough. It’s made for drinking. Just drinking.

Very strong floral aroma with a decently bitter hop bite. Interesting carbonation with a slight funk. Pretty good overall.

Pours a light copper color with aroma of floral hops and malt. Taste is clean with a mild hops taste. This beer has a taste of nature with a taste of the aroma of freshly mowed grass left on the palate. A good pale ale with a complex taste.

Pours a clear amber color with a finger or two of off-white head. The nose starts off with a citrus fruitiness and a touch of melon. There’s a nice bit of melon and some floral perfume notes. After the hops fade away, it’s all bread. The flavor is mostly bread with a lot of straw, grass, and floral hops. A light citrus note to it and minimal bitterness. Easy enough to drink, but not terribly good.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with off white head. Nose and taste of caramel malt, citrus, pineapple and tropical fruits. Medium body. Dry bitter finish.

Definitely the best Australian beer I have had to date, by quite a fair amount. Very enjoyable, very easy to drink, and definitely one to enjoy again. This is really just on the cusp of being an IPA not an APA but due to the moderate alcohol (ABV), I could have more than one of these...

Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Hoppy flowery aroma, with lighter pale malty notes. The flavor has floral hops, husky pale malts, and some lightly sweet crystal-ish malts. Not bad.

Draught at Blind Tiger, NYC. Cloudy red/brown - offwhite head. Wooden hops. Berries. Medium malty. Sweetness. Candlewax. Light bitterness. Medium hoppy. Fruity. Caramel. Honey. A bit strange messy.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Pale amber pour. The aroma is a little bit salty with a touch of autolysis there. A softly hippy component along with some pale malt as well. A little bit of light black pepper and a little bit of lingering biscuit flavour. It's okay - but it's seen better days. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2012 Draft at blind tiger with max. Pours a hazy amber body with light white lacing. Aroma is malty and sweetness. Mouthfeel is smooth with notes of fresh citrus hops and huge sweet, fruity malted flavor. I wonder the shipping lifespan of this guy traveling from Australia.

Bottle. Some initial hop aroma that doesn’t last. Pours a dark amber colour so not a pale ale in any form. The flavours seem unbalanced on the palate with some sweetness from the malts and a linear bitterness, not getting very much Galaxy hop characteristics. They’d be better of calling this an English style bitter. There was no date on the bottle so this probably tastes different when its fresh.
