Rosy amber colour with a thick off-white head. Aromas of burnt caramel and amber malt with some tropical hibiscus and crisp tart. The flavour is what you’d expect from such a rich colour with biscuity malt, golden syrup, poached orchard stonefruit and caramel. It is rather lovely. The mouthfeel is of plentiful, slightly prickly bubbles and there is a good endurance of finish thanks to well balanced bitterness. A lot to like and what would be a good sessionable pint or three.

Malty ale with good depth of colour. Too English for me, with malts and hints of biscuit undertones.
