3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jmgreenuk (1284) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - APR 4, 2013
Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a big white frothy head and broken lace. The aroma is rather malty with citrus notes. The flavour is medium bitter, a little spicy and malty with some floral notes on the palate and long into the aftertaste. A very tasty and refreshing beer. Perfect for a session.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jonnyguns (384) - - JAN 18, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor. review done a while ago.
Poured a clear amber with a large off-white head. Nose full of grapefruit, apricots and lychee. Tropical fruit bowl basically. Taste isnt as sweet as you’d think judging from the aroma. Grapefruit, stone and some tropical fruits backed by a breadish malt come through in the taste. Nice sharp bitter finish. great beer wish I could drink this again
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Jado (252) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - SEP 24, 2012
Pours a deep amber with a huge rocky off white head. Actually couldn’t detect much in the way of aroma because the head was so large, maybe some pine and grass - light though. Taste is smooth, with the rye coming through in the background. Up front, the are stonefruit, apples and citrus. Good length on the palate. Not sure if this can really be described as an IPA, rye or otherwise, but I don’t mind it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 fletchfighters (817) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 28, 2012
A-- Poured a hazy, darker golden amber color. Some nice orange hues to this. One finger of light tan colored head. On swirling get two fingers of head and very nice retention to this. When finally receding get a thick ring of lacing. Decent looking enough.
S-- Peach, orange, stonefruit, and just bits of a carmel backbone. Once warmed up more pine and grapefruit appear. More fruity than anything else really.
T-- Once again more about peach, orange, and soft grapefruit. Backbone is more evident in each sip. More of a APA than an IPA but taste is pretty good.
M-- Lighter medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry finish. Rye makes appearances in the feel. Gives off slight grainy, spicy and earthy tones in the mid palate. Does pick up more rye notes as warms. Workable.
O-- More of a rye APA to me but not bad at all. Needed more rye notes I thought but still a decent enough effort. Maybe a tad bit too light for me as an IPA.
