1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Gee what a let down. Heavy and boozy. Too much hoppiness going on and no real solid direction with where the taste wants to go. Tastes a lot like a Trappist beer when it probably shouldn't. Hard to drink.

Very average, there wasn’t much to it besides a bit of spice. Flavours were weak and unbalanced.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tried on tap at the Norfolk Hotel. Browny red body with off-white head. Spices on the nose and in the taste, seems to be plenty of spices there but not overly done. Smooth, medium to full body and very easy to drink for me.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the Courthouse. Great malty ale, nice and sweet. Aromas of caramel, nuts, and tropical fruit. Taste is sweet, with light sourness, and long length. Palate is velvety, with a medium-to-full body. Brown, with a frothy head.
