Ok summer drinking but not much more. Mild flavours of tangy citrus fruits and some dry aniseed (& smoke) on the finish. This beer is very subtle in all respects and clearly built to quaff.

Nov 21, 2009 330ml bottle from Dan Murphys. A hazy golden beer with a medium sized persistent foamy white head. Nose is bready malts with a light fruity hop presence. Tongue is simple light malt flavours with a light dry hop bitterness to the finish. Light-medium bodied with an easy drinkability. A decent and refreshing "lawnmower beer".

Nov 19, 2009 Pours golden with lively carbonation sustaining an impressive white head.
Aroma is faint, but shows some mild spicy and minty hops, some bready wheat and sweet clean malt.
Quite clean flavours, and again, quite faint. Sweet clean malt and straw-like wheat first up, followed by quite a strong hoppy bitterness (reminds me of chinook) along with off-putting metallic notes on the finish. Has a certain white wine-like cloying sweetness throughout.
Seems watery to me. But as already mentioned, that only adds to its quaff-ability.

Nov 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours gold with good white head. Restrained citrus aroma with some floral and honey notes. Nice mouthfeel. Citrus and light malts. Slightly sour finish. Pleasant enough and competently made.

Nov 14, 2009 330ml bottle. Sprightly golden amber colour with a dense white head and an aroma of floral hops with a fragrant citrus background. Smooth with a long finish. Tastes like and well rounded pale ale.

Nov 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy straw colour. Minimal carbonation and very small white head. Aromas whilst quite sublte show some citrus, wheat, a little spice and yeast. Flavours are quite restrained and show a little malt and some hop bitterness. Slight sourness on the finish. Certainly nothing agressive but pretty well balance. Would make a good session beer for a hot summer afternoon.

Nov 4, 2009 I love it how people who have never tried the style are prepared to comment on this beer stylistically...go figure! I actually quite enjoyed this beer. Nothing too in your face, a pleasing hop bitterness & mild aroma, nice cloudy pale colour. Gotta say though, even if it is organic, the price tag is a killer! But still a good beer.

Oct 24, 2009 i bought this is i’ve never tried the style and was interested. Though reading other reviews it seems to be a poor example of it. Pours cloudy orange, citrusy aroma repeated in the flavour along with wheat. a fair bit of yeast and esters in flavour. nothing to get exited about, will only drink again if it doesn’t involve paying for it.
Tthe fact that they call it an ale, and they are replacing their pale ale with it, makes me think it might be better of in the APA section.
