Bottle purchased on sale at Nugget in Woodland, CA. Aroma is bright and full of tart cranberry and some slight hints of sweet honey. There is also a vanilla present, as well. A neat aroma that keeps me coming back. Transparent reddish-orange body with no head and fair legging present. Not quite as viscous as something like Jadwiga. A fair amount of initial honey-like sweetness, before this becomes a bit tart, and astringent with cranberry flavors. Finishes kind of dry and woody. Very wine-like actually. Ethanol is well-hidden. Pretty good stuff.

Bottled. A deep red mead. The aroma has lovely notes of cranberries and honey. The flavor is both sweet and acidic from the cranberries with strong notes of cranberries as well as medium notes of alcohol and honey.

Blech, not a fan of mead. Sooo ungodly sweet, I get diabetes just looking at it. So sweet it hurts, but the cranberry helps mellow things out, sort of.

There is a floral honey aroma. The flavor is sweet and fruity with a slight alcohol burn. The honey is prominent in the finish.
