Blond color. Indeed this one is a sweet Mead, with lovely, deep notes of freshly cut wood and wood sap, in the aroma and even more in the flavor; tones of musk, of forest; correct acidity; there is a touch of fruits too. Excellent Mead.

This mead is close to perfection. The appearance is that of apple juice. The flavor is very sweet and the presence of alcohol is well hidden.

[ Courtesy of fiulijn ]. Clear medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, sharp honey, spicy honey, nectar. Flavour is light heavy sweet with a long duration, spicy, perfumed honey, warm alcohol. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20120323]

Bottle @ AA-Meeting, Western Denmark 2012. Pours clear yellow with bubbles on top. Sweet honey, hazel and caramel. Sticky and oily. Slightly spiced. Flowers. Lovely sipper.

75cl bottle. Pours hazy pale yellow. Smells and tastes sweet, honey, koriander and alcohol with a similar finish.

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and slight chemical. Sweet honey and fruity. Light phenolic and sweet. Raisin sweet and fruity.

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour with no head. Aroma is floral notes along with honey and some slight white wine like notes. Flavour is honey, white wine, mild vinegar as well as some tropical fruits and mild herbal notes.

375ml Bottle. Pours with a still, completely clear medium to deep golden body. Strong legs. Aromas of sweet honey, light butter, light oak, eucalyptus, sage, cinnamon, lightly spicy, vigoner, medium esters, toffee, some higher alcohols. Some bready notes. Flavors are sweet, slightly spiced, a hint of orange juice, cinnamon, mild tannin, cinnamon toast, bready, biscuity, some alcohol. Medium sweet, good acidity. Medium weighted mouthfeel, slick, slightly oily. Well balanced. Lightly herbal, floral, spicy finish. Good mead.
