COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A highly hopped, moderate bodied beer which comes in at 5.2% ABV. The hops schedule includes healthy doses of Chinook, Cascade, and Amarillo, and is tuned perfectly to provide the hops bitterness explosion that IPA fans seek without a lingering bitter aftertaste.

Pours orange in color, slightly hazy, and a sudsy white head. Aroma is orange, lemon, grapefruit, pine, and resin. Taste pretty much followed the nose but also had some slight malt sweetness to it and some bitterness from the hops. Medium to light body, carb was fine, lingering bitter without the aftertaste, and a nice dry finish. Solid beer and my first WV tick.

Brownish amber, fine ivory white foam, cloudy. Fast dissipating head. Savory aroma, meats, light pine, dark caramels/Maillard, faint citrus, hints of earthy vegetable. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet. Faint bitter finish. Residual sugar is minor. Lightly resinous. This is actually more delightful than it sounds. There’s a nuts and bolts quality to it that’s endearing. Thanks much to Italirican and Jenny for this!

draft that poured a dark orange color with minimal white head. the aroma is of malt and piney hops with some citrus hiding in there. the flavor is medium malt with lots of piney hops. good representation of the style. medium bitterness but the flavor was consistent throughout.

Pale deep golden orange pour with a thin soapy off white head and sticky lacing .... aroma is of orange and piney hops with some resiny hop .... light but there .... taste wise it has a caramel malt and light orange citrusy and piney hops with a bitter bite of grapefruit and light resin .... has a malty and lingering bitter bite on the back end that is long and dry in the finish .... average swill, little too much carbonation and sessionable not too bad

Six pack of 12 oz. bottles. Light haze on the shiny copper body. Lasting spongy foam. Aroma is grapefruit and orange zest, caramel and a touch of evergreen. Taste is metallic caramel quickly turning to toast, orange zest and resin. Big bitter finish of spicy wood and dry leaf also has a touch of flowery fruit. Near-medium body is smooth with medium carbonation and a crisply dry finish. Quality brew is a pretty good sessioner that has a bit of a unique hop blend.

Bottle thanks to Travlr: Carmel orange color white head. Sweet malt aroma. Wet thin hops with malts. Finally finished sampling a beer from all 50 states and DC.

Not a bad IPA. Orangish with a white head and a medium body. Pine and grass aroma and a tinge of citrus. Tried in Harper’s Ferry with Matt in 2014.

Tap at Mountain State. Classic East Coast/English IPA. Unfiltered copper orange. Creamy off-white head. Balance between the crystal malts and classic hops. Ringwood barky English yeast tones. Leans into the toffee caramel. OK, standard, inoffensive.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2014 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a large foamy orange-beige head that faded and left great lacing. The aroma was dryish, bitter and tart with notes of grapefruit and lemon. The flavor was bitter, tangy and a bit tart with notes grapefruit and lemon. Medium length finish. Medium body. Solid.

Charleston bottle. First WV tick and celebrating #37. Nice brown, amber pour with lots of carbonation pushing a foamy off-white head. Nice lemony citrus aroma with some sweet hay notes. Flavor is a little thin. Bitterness but maybe lacking a little malt backbone. Good.
