3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale deep golden orange pour with a thin soapy off white head and sticky lacing .... aroma is of orange and piney hops with some resiny hop .... light but there .... taste wise it has a caramel malt and light orange citrusy and piney hops with a bitter bite of grapefruit and light resin .... has a malty and lingering bitter bite on the back end that is long and dry in the finish .... average swill, little too much carbonation and sessionable not too bad

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Six pack of 12 oz. bottles. Light haze on the shiny copper body. Lasting spongy foam. Aroma is grapefruit and orange zest, caramel and a touch of evergreen. Taste is metallic caramel quickly turning to toast, orange zest and resin. Big bitter finish of spicy wood and dry leaf also has a touch of flowery fruit. Near-medium body is smooth with medium carbonation and a crisply dry finish. Quality brew is a pretty good sessioner that has a bit of a unique hop blend.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not a bad IPA. Orangish with a white head and a medium body. Pine and grass aroma and a tinge of citrus. Tried in Harper’s Ferry with Matt in 2014.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Mountain State. Classic East Coast/English IPA. Unfiltered copper orange. Creamy off-white head. Balance between the crystal malts and classic hops. Ringwood barky English yeast tones. Leans into the toffee caramel. OK, standard, inoffensive.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2014 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a large foamy orange-beige head that faded and left great lacing. The aroma was dryish, bitter and tart with notes of grapefruit and lemon. The flavor was bitter, tangy and a bit tart with notes grapefruit and lemon. Medium length finish. Medium body. Solid.

Charleston bottle. First WV tick and celebrating #37. Nice brown, amber pour with lots of carbonation pushing a foamy off-white head. Nice lemony citrus aroma with some sweet hay notes. Flavor is a little thin. Bitterness but maybe lacking a little malt backbone. Good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Caramel, biscuits, pine, and fruit in the aroma. Flavor start bitter, with pine and some fruit. Mild finish, with some bitterness and a little fruit sweetness. Fairly standard IPA, but pretty good nonetheless.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is dark amber with a lite white head. Aroma like all other parts of this beer is very hoppy and bone dry if that’s your thing this is your beer. I very much like this beer and think it will pair well with food. The finsh is bitter but not over the top.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap in the Laurel Lounge in Canaan Valley Resort in Canaan Valley State Park, WV.
Clear, chestnut color with an off-white head and good lacing.
Aroma of bread, citrus, caramel, pine and floral hops.
Taste of caramel, floral hops, citrus and bread. The hops and malts do not seem to balance each other well. Instead of a balance and interplay, we get a sequence. The flavor starts sweet and finishes with a harsh bitterness.
Medium body and medium/low carbonization.
