2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Brouwerij (406) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Pours a cloudy amber with a finger of quickly diminishing off-white head. A little lacing. Very mild aroma, wheat, grain, hay. Flavor is wheat, bread/dough, malt, slight caramel. Moderate carbonation, light body, and a watery mouthfeel. Clean, light, drinkable, but could have a stronger, bolder flavor. They have much better beers.

On tap at Vine Street Pub. Pour is clear amber with an off-white head and decent lacing. Perfumey, light roast, citrus, a touch of lemon, and biscuit in the aroma. Taste is light citrus, cereal, lemon, and biscuit with a light bitter finish. There is something about this beer that is pretty tasty but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Medium body with high carbonation . Pretty nice amber.

Aroma reminds me almost of a toasted waffle. Pinkish red in color, slightly hazy. Caramel like undertones and a hoppy finish.

Aroma is missing, but not unpleasant. Color is a dark amber, looking more like a Scott ale. Taste is carmel and more like a Scott ale than any amber I've had. Frothy an enjoyable, no bitterness in the finish.

Tap at Vine st. Clear mahogany red with a light khaki head. Amazing amber aroma of caramel, gentle toffee, gentle earthiness, and a light grassy bitterness. Taste was smooth, complex, medium bodied but full flavored. Toffee, lots of caramel, candy sugar, an earthy bitterness, and resoundingly balanced for a sweet-ish amber. Not hoppy, but just bitter enough. Pure delight.
