Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a subtle nice semi-dark brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing trickling around the glass. The smell had some blackberry with a grainy / wheaty sort of aroma with just a slight apricot and peachiness underneath. The taste was mainly sweet but had a slight bittersweet flavoring of the apricot and peaches (can apricot and peaches be bittersweet? ), not really. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but still subdued and sitting exactly where it should be for the style. Overall, Mountain Sun, where have you been all my life? So glad I was able to sample this.
