3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Vine Street - "C’est Tout Belgian Ale" - burnt orange/copper pour - spicy nose, with light, crisp maltiness, some burnt sugars - flavor is very dry, crisp, spicy, hoppy - the lightest touch of yeast phenols and a bit of tangy, wheaty character on the tail end - a bit of sweetness develops as it warms, but this is mostly dry, peppery, and tasty - the spice profile also gets stronger as it warms, revealing a bit more complexity - not entirely "saison-like," but I likey.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught from brewpub. A red/brown with thin white head. Aroma is sweet as hell with syrupy caramels and light fruit. A roasty and toasty malt syrup also in flavor. Boozy, burnt, and dry finish.
