Tap at vine st. Pour is light copper with a white head that turns thin and lasts. Smells of apple cider, banana, cotton candy and yeasty goodness. Taste is sweet but not cloyingly so. Bit of banana with the caramel sweetness. Great doughy finish. A real nice beer on a hot day. I miss Walt.

draft. unfiltered medium-light orange. high effervescence plus tingly and sharp acid create a strongly phenolic nose (white pepper, butane, caramelized citrus, wax) with strong gum and candied banana. sweet, bit syrupy but just below what i’d call chewy. medium+ acid, low bitterness. syrupy full finish, noticeable warming alcohol. a bit of a mess.

Clear dark coppery orange with a nice tight small head with pretty good lace. Sweet malty fruity aroma of caramel, apricots, pale grainy malt, and dark Belgian fruity malts with a raisin tone. Taste is sweet and big on the palate. Nice full grainy maltiness with light and dark fruit tones playing together--apricot, raisin, plum, pineapple, with a beautifully restrained boozy tone that is for warmth and flavor. Deep and fruity with slight bitterness on the finish with the alcohol heat. A touch of oak throughout as well. very big and malty, yet balanced. Just great!
