COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What's in a name? The brewer's mantra, "more hops," is taken as far as possible in this beer. A deep amber body balances the bitterness and makes that long day at work seem a distant memory. Just ask for a pint of "the dank!!" This beer is also dry hopped with whole flower, Cascade hops.

Tap at the Vine Street Pub, Denver. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is big classic IPA hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a hoppy liqourice palate and a strange and not entirely pleasant bitter finish.

Nitro tap at the brewpub. Pours a murky brown-amber with a white head. Light aroma, of malt, yeast. Bigger taste, of roasted malt, yeast, and a bit of hoppy bitterness underneath. Lingering bitterness and malt. Pretty good.

On draft at Mountain Sun. This was just your typical run of the mill pale ale. I’m not complaining though. It was tasty and had all the elements I normally enjoy: good hop presence, floral aroma and good balance between hops and malts.

Pretty basic but easy drinking and refreshing. Plenty of hops and light malt. Comes off citrusy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the vine street pub. I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this because I’ve had it several times. It is dark orange and while it smells good it doesn’t prepare me for the pine needle and dank hoppiness that follows in the taste. I swear this was hopper than l remember. Good stuff.
